I needed some new eyeglasses found out that Target took my insurance. In the past Ive only gone to a private optometrists office, but I decided to give Target a try. I went in to make an appointment, but first I wanted to see if they had a decent selection; the sure did! I made an appt for late on a Saturday and I was in and out of my exam within 20 minutes. I was asked if I wanted my eyes dilated and a couple of other services. I declined, but there was no pressure from Dr. Aamir. When my exam was over, I tried on many different glasses. I brought a friend to assist with this. After trying on a few pairs, the lady that works our front (forgot her name; short blonde hair) gave me a few to try and I ended up buying the pair that she recommended. She was VERY knowledgeable and explained why one pair of glasses was better suited for me than the other. She said that the eyeglasses should be in 7-9 days. As I mentioned, I went in late on a Saturday, and I got a notice that my glasses were in on Monday!! That was fast! Other places Ive been too, I had to wait a week. I highly recommend Dr Aamir and her staff. Also, youre inside a Target, get your eyes checked and do some shopping without having to travel!

Had an appointment, scheduled to not be in the office due to this appointment. They call asking to reschedule the night before. OK fine - no problem, doctor is not in. I reschedule the appointment, again taking work off, and this time rescheduling meetings at work. They call again, the night before to reschedule again! Obviously they need to get some issues resolved internally. We later get the actual doctor on the phone after being disconnected (hung-up on?). The doctor (Sarah) was very polite and explained that their is a deficiency in the Target office staff, they seem to be willfully misrepresenting the reason why the "doctor is not in", its because they are not approved to accept certain types of insurance (yet), they dont want to loose the customer so they keep trying to reschedule in the words of "doctor not in". The doctor seems great, but the office staff is lying to customers to try to keep business.

I do not recommend getting an exam or purchasing contacts or glasses at this location. My eye glass prescription was shortened from two years to one (I was never told this by the doctor or anyone at Target Optical), and I was unable to purchase glasses online due to prescription that had expired (13 months after the exam) and told by Target that it was "up to the doctors discretion" as to when the prescription expired. While I was aware that a contact lens prescription would expire after 1 year, the doctor did not inform me that it would be the case for the glasses or even ask me when I planned on purchasing glasses. I am very disappointed in the service and feel that this was somewhat of a money making tactic. I believe you can get better and more honest service elsewhere.

Doctor lowered my prescription strength and claims that i have 20/20 vision now. If my vision was above 20/20 then why would i have gone to get a new prescription? She refused to give me a stronger prescription or even to the level that i currently had. As a college student i can no longer see the board unless im sitting front row in my classes and when i drive at night its almost impossible to see the road signs. The doctor has no interest in her clients. I will never go back and i do not recommend. Nothing against Target Optics but just this doctor at the target in Canton, GA.

I saw Dr. Sara Aamir today. She was very professional and took a great deal of time to explain every aspect of the exam. I was able to get a same day appt. The exam price was very reasonable without up charges. There was no pressure to purchase either contacts or glasses right then. I was given a Rx for both. The dept was busy with people coming in to pick up orders but the staff was attentive to all the needs.

I had a wonderful experience at this doctor. I was able to get a Saturday appointment, and they got me right in. Dr. Aamir is great, and the staff is SUPER! Ive been there twice now (once for appointment and once for pick up), and I dont have any complaints! Definitely recommend!!!

I absolutely love coming to Target Optical. They make you feel so welcome and never pressured to buy or get anything you are not comfortable with. The Dr is quick but yet does a great job. Couldnt ask for a better eye Dr.
