Little Kentucky Farm

First time there and didnt have cash to pay repair. I was told to take the shoes and come back later with the $3.00. I found change in purse to pay, but was so surprised that they told me to come back! I also sadly discovered that the landlord raised the rent in this space and is completely unaffordable ($1000/month). It was explained to me that theyre going out of business. Im really upset that this man who is a craftsman with his hands will be disappearing. What a loss to the community. What a shame.

The owner has been fixing shoes in this little shop his entire life, and the experience shows! You may want to confirm the address, because his original shop burned down several years ago, and the address change has not been fixed on all of the various web sites. Make the trip, however, and youll be glad you did!!!

This place is awesome! Billy, the owner, did a great job stitching up a tear on the heel of my dress shoes. Hes been running it since the 50s and is full of stories. Go just to see Billy!
