I do not leave reviews often. 1 star isnt actually accurate. They deserve 0. We stopped in at this Jareds to have a ring resized before our wedding. We had purchased the ring at a Jareds in Wisconsin. In summary: * We were asked 3 times if we REALLY purchased the ring at Jareds, as if we were lying and attempting to have it resized for free. * We were told we should have brought the paperwork proving we purchased the ring, since the system is not integrated. (Why would you bother with the big chains if theyre not actually even a chain?) * We were told it would not be ready until the afternoon of the following day, though they claimed it could be done same day when we called on the phone beforehand. * As we were wrapping up the order, the employee had an epiphany and confirmed that we wanted both rings (theyre a wrap) to be sized to the same size. * When we picked up the ring, it was tarnished around the edges, though it was made of white gold. When we asked why that was, they claimed that that was due to the resizing process. We asked them to CLEAN THE RING that THEY HAD DIRTIED. They cleaned it up a bit and informed us that to get it fully cleaned wed have to leave it for another business day. We declined their offer since this same-day work had already taken two full business days. We will NEVER shop at Jareds again. Not this store, not any other store. We were already telling everyone we know to avoid this chain when the salesperson secretly signed us up for a Jareds credit card and didnt care to size the ring properly in the first place. This just confirmed that this chain is rotten to the core. Then again, what would you expect? The same company owns and runs Jareds, Zales, and Kay to artificially saturate the market. Why would they not be deceptive in every transaction?

Id give this place negative stars if I could. My fiance and I walked in to look at wedding bands at 10:30 last Saturday. We were met by a gentleman who came across like a bad used car salesman than a professional merchant looking to sell one of the most meaningful purchases we will ever make. He then goes on to start spewing stereotypes such as "women are expensive" and "I know she had to drag you in here". I love my fiance, and am extremely excited to be marrying her. I am also a realist as to the commitment and work that goes into a lasting marriage (parents married for 42 years now). As I listedned to this jerk spout off these stereotypes I could see her body language wilt a little bit. Im getting angry thinking about it. We told him we were just in to look at a couple of rings we saw online and would ask for some help sizing our fingers. Before even trying to assist us, he opens a credit application and starts explaining to me what store credit is. Then he asks me if Im over 18! Im 30 years old and work in the finance industry for a living!! We got our sizes and left. I tried to call the 800 number on their website to complain and couldnt get through after about 10 minutes so I gave up. Jared should fire this store rep. I have never been so insulted by a customer service sales rep in my life. I will be taking my hard-earned money elsewhere to purchase our rings. Stay away from this place unless you prefer to veiled insults where you and your money arent valued.

Went to get my wifes jewelry inspected, cleaned, and have a couple stones tightened up because they were coming loose (told and shown by another Jared but didnt have time to repair that day). The gentlemen that greeted us was very nice but that was the only positive part of our experience. The women at the inspection counter was very busy and asked for some help. The manager came to get us and basically ushered us toward the diamond counter and then promptly turned us around and put us back at the inspection table. The woman seemed annoyed that my wife told her some stones were loose as if we werent qualified to be making that kind of observation. She took a VERY quick glance at the diamonds and said they were fine and then said they couldnt clean the earrings because they had pearls on them, funny because every other Jared (at least 4 stores in 3 different states) had cleaned the gold for us. They managed to inspect and clean 2 pendants, 3 sets of earrings, and an engagement set in less then 10 minutes. None of it was fully cleaned. We will never be going to this Jared again.

I was looking to surprise my wife with an upgrade of her ring after 10 glorious years and we were eating at the Mall, so first we tried the mall "jewelers", what a joke. We then went Jared after about an hour of being hard closed on a credit card at the mall. When we entered Jared we were just over the whole upgrade thing after our experience at the mall (I know, my bad, who actually expects to find nice jewelry in a mall...but I digress...) and we werent the most pleasant customers to start, but they warmed us up, gave us water, coffee...they cleaned my wifes (less than clean) diamond earrings she hardly ever takes out, they were nothing but pleasant. After about an hour and a half, we (finally) made our decision, they had the ring sized before we could finish our celebration refreshment at Fridays. All and all, go here first, they are competitively priced, very knowledgable, nice and overall just good at their jobs. Thank you to the entire staff at the Jared in Buford, yall rock!

I went in a few months ago to look at engagement rings with some girlfriends; Tiffany helped us and was excellent -- very patient, went through different styles/sizes and discussed diamond cuts (pros/cons, etc). We narrowed down to three, and she contacted my boyfriend directly from there to arrange him coming in to see them (he and I had already talked about that so it wasnt a surprise to him!). He also had a great experience with Tiffany, narrowed down to THE ring and we are both very happy with our purchase! She also found us a wedding band that matched (my engagement ring wasnt a set) very well. Overall had a great experience with Tiffany (5 stars) and with the technician who helped to resize my ring. The 4 stars is due to my (now) fiance having been unhappy with some of the male sales people he encountered prior to sitting down with Tiffany. His impression of them was that of uncaring and bored used car salesmen. If you go to this Jared (Mall of GA), seek out Tiffany!!

I went in the other day. I am in my early twenties, and I was looking for wedding bands and diamond earrings. At first the older male told me that I looked to young to get married and that he would sign off on the papers for me. Then when I went to look at diamond earrings I informed the women consultaultant that I only wanted spiral back because I sometimes forget to take my earrings out. She looked at me and told me that it is part of being a big girl. Then I called back later to and was scuffed at. Yes I might be in my early twenties, but I am still a customer and can afford a great deal of your jewelry. They were extremely rude and I felt as though I "wasnt mature" enough to wear their jewelry. I have also heard terrible things about trying to get rings fixed from their store. I will not be spending my money there and they should probably invest in some better consultants, but I have talked to others and they are starting to get a bad rep about their customer service.
