I dont normally write reviews, but my experience with this shop was bad enough for me to actually write this. Let me start at the beginning. I am part of a repair facility in VT. We had a customer with a 1999 Infiniti QX4 that had a bad transmission. I contacted Shakti by email for a quote on the transmission. I received a reply with the price & then emailed back saying I wanted to get the process started. I never heard back from that email, so I called them. The phone was answered by someone with such a thick accent that I couldnt even hardly understand them. I gave them the year, make, model, and production date of the car, and they verified that they had the right transmission. I was given two different prices on shipping cost and delivery time. I was finally transferred to Harry (who was the only even slightly good part of my experience). Harry was able to answer my questions and get the process moving. A couple days later, I had to call them to see when the transmission would arrive. I was told Monday, but the transmission never arrived until Tuesday. When the transmission arrived, it was tied to a pallet using old SEAT BELTS! We did a visual check of the transmission and it appeared correct, so we removed the transmission from the vehicle. Once we had the old one out, we were able to see that the bell housing was incorrect, as well as the wiring going into the transmission. I contacted Shakti by email right away and never got a reply. I called that same afternoon to talk to Harry who wouldnt take my call. I was told that the owner or manager would call me back in five minutes. Two days later, I am still waiting for a call. Now I have a customer stranded without a vehicle, a transmission I cant use OR sell, Im out almost $800, and Shakti that wont even answer their phone in order for me to ship it back to them! We pride ourselves on timely turn around and quality repairs. Shops like this make it extremely hard for us to do our jobs. If I could give zero stars, I would. This business has no idea how to treat customers or how to run a business. I urge everyone to seriously consider whether or not they really want to chance using this company.

Great Experience i own an auto repair shop in SC so i deal with salvage yards a good bit. These guys over performed for us !!! Ordered motor at 2;00pm 11/6/13 on wednesday and it was at my shop on the ground ready for install before 11:00am 11/7/13 on thursday. The engine was great quality non washed with actual low milage not your typical clean and claim low milage, REALLY A SOLID ENGINE WITH LOW MILES !!!! I will be using these guys more often for our parts . Used a credit card for payment on 11/6/13 and they charged me the amount agreed on 11/13/13 and had no issues. Have told many other local repair shops in area about these guys, its really nice in my line of work to deal with a business that under promises and over delivers like these guys did! really was hassle free on our end. Thank you guys at Shakti you have really earned our future business.

total crooks and dishonest business give you one price on phone and change it when you arrive part wont be there he will collect a deposit and force you to return, will try to get you to repair a broken water cooler and pay you nothing for your efforts.Looted central air units scattered around the yard obviously contributing to atlantas copper theft sold me an unsafe defective part for an inflated price,Boasts to be a container shipper, of what stolen copper etc, Stay away from this company,take it from an honest guy these folks are crooks,report all copper theft

Ignore all the reviews, this place is very good, very experienced and knowledgeable peoples & very advance way of working. I needed the engine for my toyota camry & even I was not aware about particular engines for my model so they told me to take some photos of car & mail them and then mailed, they match exact engine as per my car and shipped to free of cost. Even my mechanic amused with engine after he installed engine as its running all good & very efficient.... very Chill place.too

THIS IS A TERRIBLE PLACE TO BUY PARTS! We called them and asked for a Compressor for an Altima. They told us they had the part and the price. We drove out to Buford from Marietta and the OWNER tells our driver that he does not have the Compressor. We called him after the driver left and complained and he told us that he has 5 of them now. This guy is a TOTAL IDIOT that has no a total disregard for business and obviously will not be in business very long Pissing Off his customers.

Should have read the reviews first. As a business owner, I try to work hard for my customers and maintain customer satisfaction, something they clearly dont care about. I ordered a part and paid shipping on Tuesday, On Thursday they still have not charged my card nor shipped the item. You cant run a successful business relying on unreliable people. I will be taking our business elsewhere and suggest anyone wise enough to read this do the same.

To be fair and honest. I did not have an issue with these guys at all. Actually, I found that there prices were far more competitive than other places I called. My only concern, the part did not fit my car, (myself and the mechanic was puzzled by that) but returning wasnt an issue! They typically on issue an exchange in a situation like that, but Mike did refund the full amount.

These folks will ship you wrong engines and then not stand behind them. They do not belong to the BBB in Atlanta, but do have at least one complaint against them. They sent me the wrong engine twice, and will not make good on it, wanting me to pay for shipping back the incorrect engine.

They sent us the wrong (($680)) transmission & after being contacted over 30x overthe last 4 months they are still Ignoring us, and not honoring the warranty & refund policy!! So No refund & no correct transmission sent yet! Ive called , emailed And NOTHING!! enough is enough !!!

Bought a pair of "Insurance Quality" head lamps for a Mazda Millenia. They were oxidized beyond repair and had broken tabs when delivered.
