The customer service here is REALLY REALLY horrible. I lived at Pencil Factory lofts for 3 years a few years ago and I used to come here ALL the time. I recently moved back to the area and they have new staff. Every time Ive visited the store recently Ive had poor interactions with two caucasian women that work there. On one occasion I asked one girl if the store had a particular item I was looking for and she seemed annoyed that I said "excuse me" and interrupted her personal conversation to ask her a question!!!??? Then she just said "I dunno if we got it-sorry" Didnt offer to check or tell me where to look or anything. Wow. Just a few minutes ago I was in the store and another caucasian unkept woman was laughing on her phone behind the register while I waited for several minutes to check out. No one was at the register. She comes over while still laughing on her phone and begins to check me out-doesnt even make eye contact with me lol. I said "hi, how are you doing?" to her and she snapped back that "I dont even work the register and I aint got to check you out. I can just leave you here waiting!!!" Really because I said "hi" to her? Someone has some anger issues. Completely uncalled for and unprofessional!!! I just said "okay then, dont check me out." I waited for another 2 minutes for the other white women that I referenced above to eventually come to the register and check me out with an attitude while on the phone as well. No hello, no have a good night, not an ounce of customer service. Needless to say I just will not spend my money here EVER again. Prime example of why recovering Meth addicts shouldnt have jobs working with the public.

OK - I no longer cook. Every day, there is a new, extremely affordable special that Chef Al cooks to completion while I wait! (call ahead, he will have it ready!) You will not find better food for the price! His fresh tuna salad and soups... rank in the smack your momma league! And if you have no fear of calories - his grilled cheese or chicken parm cant be beat!!!

I cant say enough good things about this corner store. AMAZING craft beer selection at good prices, deli that makes great breakfast and lunch food, great people working there... the food at the deli is good enough that I skip walking to Daddy Dz, Nicks To Go and occasionally (sinfully) Rias Bluebird and go here instead.

This location proves to be a lifesaver at times because of its convenient location for grabbing a quick snack or bite to eat. Cleanliness & Customer Service need improvement. Two VERY IMPORTANT areas for Intown Market to focus training & development of staff. Correct these two areas and watch sales INCREASE.
