Horrible experience. I would suggest that if you have computer work to be done, you go to one of the big stores that have good customer service and that is going to be accountable for their work. Screw me once shame on you, screw me twice shame on me. We paid a ridiculous amount of money to have a server built that would automatically back up and notify us when the system wasnt functioning correctly. Now they are telling us, some other story. If you didnt set something up right, just be a man and own up to it. I wasnt even asking for my money back, even though you cost my business tens of thousands of dollars and man hours, but how are you going to charge me a $59.99 diagnostic fee to tell me that you basically screwed me the first time i trusted you to build a proper system for me. LESSON LEARNED!!! You make it bad for other small business owners. You make people want to only trust big businesses that actually have the money to backup their mistakes. I will never buy a computer or server again from a small company. And the way you talked to me & my company was atrocious like we are sub-human although we have spent thousands of dollars with you.

I was on the hunt for a power supply for my external hard drive. Not being from Atlanta originally I wasnt familiar with the inventory of local stores so I began my hunt. After literally calling 10+ stores with no luck I gave GIM Computers a call. He explained that he would need to see the hard drive to determine the size power supply I would need but couldnt guarantee he would have the size. Sure enough I drove down to his store and he had the parts I needed available and in stock. The whole transaction was done in less than ten minutes and he had provided me with everything I was looking for at a more than reasonable price. Great service, great products, and I would highly recommend them for all your computer parts needs.

I bought a 15" Macbook pro for a little over $600 which I thought was a great deal, only to after a few months crash on me. The computer shuts down in the middle of a task and reboots. After this kept happening, I opened the computer only to find that the battery was held in place by bubble wrap! I was puzzled as to why and realized that the parts that keep in in place were broken off. OK. Then I looked over to the hard drive only to find more bubble wrap! The hard drive was held in place again by bubblewrap! Im going back to demand an explanation. I dont have money to throw around and this place sells janky equipment. If you buy something from there, open it up and check it out first!

Purchased laptop on Feb 18 with 15 day warranty. March 2 called owner to ask why battery would not hold charge for more than 30 or 40 minutes without being plugged in. His response was that if I was so worried about battery then I should have asked my question before I purchased. He refused to honor warranty in any manner. I was not asking for refund or return, just a good battery. His response was to go buy one. In one year I purchased 2 laptops and one desk top but never again. Warranty is worthless and he makes up the rules as he goes. Nice as can be when you are spending money but come back with a problem and it is just the opposite. BEWARE

The reason I give only 1 star is not because they failed to repair my pc is because of their altitude and worst service. After they told me that they cannot repair my laptop, I think it is fine because everything has an end day which I totally understand. But what make me mad is the computer they give me back is totally a mess. They open my laptop to check but they didnt turn it back! The screw is lost and the total back of the laptop is scattered. now i even cannot unfold my laptop. If you want to repair your laptop, please do not come here. Not even give them a try

Customer for 20+ years, because they know their stuff. If you want to be told you are smart and pretty, call your mother. If you want to be told how to maximize your computer budget, ask GIM. (But listen, as they will not tell you twice. And ask for Charlene. She knows her parts.) These people open the doors to sell you the best computer you can afford...if you let them. I have always followed their suggestions to the limit my current machines allowed budget, and have never once been disapponted.

I have been shopping with GIM for over 10 years and will continue to return for 10 more. There are things in the IT industry that I dont have to know and keep up with to use a computer. Any time I call GIM, they have the answer and know the latest info on all the new stuff and always have the best price in town. If it is not in stock, they can get it for me in a matter of days! Fast service, dependable products, best price.... three reasons to trust GIM for your computer needs. Thanks guys

They sold me my first laptop ate age 10 or something. It has been 20 years. Now I just buy custom gaming computers cuz the Big Box stores install too much crap on theirs. These guys just install what is needed, none of the spammy stuff. I dont know about the one star guys. Maybe they expected too much, but what big box store will make you a server like that or even offer the video card you need for Blade & Soul?

Need new (to you) computers or monitors? Dont go buy a brand new overpriced computer. Come to GIM and get used computers and monitors at great prices. Did you laptop battery die? Dont buy overpriced OEM parts. Get the OEM or generic equivalent at better price. They also have used computers and laptops at great prices, and warranty available. Is your computer broken, they can fix it at a reasonable price.!!!

Cant speak to repair service but for used equipment be sure to check it thoroughly, as they dont. Bought Macbook, found camera not working. Brought it back, was offered a refund "because I can resell it." After unpleasant negotiation I settled for a lousy $15 rebate--I was on the road so it wasnt worth fighting over, but I feel ripped off. Caveat emptor.

I have had two great experiences with GIM and it is my go-to for any electronics repairs. I brought in an iPhone and MacBook that I thought might be completely un-repairable. I was wrong! The owner was able to fix the iPhone on the spot and the MacBook was fixed after dropping off with a quick turn around. Glad to have found GIM!
