I am a big fan of cigars and the brotherhood/sisterhood of the leaf. Ive been here in Atlanta for just under 3 years. Ive been a regular at Buckhead Cigars for all that time, and my first visit was several years before I moved here permanently. If you are looking for a very good selection of premium and super premium cigars, this is your stop in Atlanta. The metro area has a lot of good cigar shops for which I have plenty of good reports, but Buckhead Cigars has kept a consistent, distant lead as my favorite. On cigars, the guys usually have a plentiful sale table of good to great sticks. Remarkably, this sales table is usually filled with great boutique and BIG name cigars; they are just turning inventory for new facings and batches. Walk away from the sales table and into the broader humidor, youre met with limited release, expertly blended $50+ cigars to the $10 well-aged "I wanna relax, smoke something good, but not here to celebrate a big life event" tried&true stoggies. On the food/drinks, this is one of the spots, on the ever-dwindling list, you can get food, libations, and cigars in one place. Of course, there is food/drink service in the cigar shop, but this is a semi-private club that is independently owned (i.e., not owned by Dantannas Restaurant). As a consequence, expect to buy a cigar per each member of your party. Another benefit is that the restaurant stays open as late as you would expect a restaurant/bar to. If the club closes at 9, 10, or 11 pm, the restaurant has a full service, smoking patio that stays open late--complete with multiple flat-screens and streaming sports. Last thing Ill say... If youre a professional either visiting or living in Buckhead, this is a great place for networking--especially during the week. Being in the center of Buckhead, youll run into everyone from young Turks to senior executives here on the right night.

Been here on a couple occasions and absolutely love this spot. LOTS OF DAVIDOFF CIGARS AND CIGARILLOS. You want hand rolled? You got it. Machine rolled? Sure. I am sure the new brand name Davidoff store in the Buckhead Atlanta plaza will give them some competition, but nonetheless this is a good spot. INSIDE DANTANNAS, TO THE LEFT. Yes, go all the way to the back leftward. Not the easiest to find, so dont go wondering inside the mall to find this spot. And amazingly, they were open until 11pm on a Saturday! Now thats a schedule every cigar shop should have. NICE STAFF. Now, I dont like to add stereotypes to my reviews normally, but sometimes serious cigar connoisseurs are perceived as snobby. Not the case with these guys, down to earth people.

By far the best cigar bar Ive been to. Great selection of premium cigars, probably the nicest ventilation system I seen yet, plenty of comfortable leather couches, flat screens along an entire wall, two theater size projection screens at ether end, food and bar service from Dantannas. I was in Atlanta for a week of training and found this prefect place to relax and enjoy a fine smoke along with a drink. The regulars were very friendly and made me feel right a home and Big Mike, the proprietor, was outstanding. If your a cigar smoker and find yourself in Atlanta dont miss this gem!

Buckhead Cigar Club is a one of a kind shop. I dont know of any other shops in town that you can buy a cigar, light it up, and still get full restaurant service as you smoke. Even late at night. (Theyre open until midnight Mon - Sat and 8PM on Sun.) The selection of cigars is top notch. In addition to the selection youd expect to find in any cigar shop, they also have numerous rare and aged cigars that are almost impossible to find elsewhere. It is a little confusing to find the first time you visit, the cigar shop is actually inside Dantannas.

Was passing through Atlanta and called ahead to find out when they close. The guy on the phone told me 6pm. Turned off the highway and made it into the store at 5:50 after busting it to get there. Asian guy at the counter said sorry were closed. There were 8 people sitting inside smoking. Last call was at 5:30 he said. Why didnt you tell me that when I called and said I was trying to make it before you closed? Stopped in a couple years back also. Not impressed at all. Asian guy was a dick.

This is the best cigar shop in Atlanta. They have a great selection of the best cigars out there. They also keep informed of new cigars and are willing to try them out in the shop. Other shops have great selections of cigars but Buckhead Cigar is open late most nights and has a full food and drink menu from Dantannas. Not many places in the world where you can have a great meal, libation and cigar in a comfortable air conditioned space, without leaving your seat.

Dont bother going anywhere else for cigars. Most places in Atlanta, I end up giving recs to the staff. These guys actually know their product. The prices, atmosphere, and service is the best in Atlanta. Not to mention the selection is hands down better than anyone in town. I tried to tip Mike one time when I was in there. He turned it down and told me to spend it on cigars. Enough said.

Great selection, especially Davidoff, you can find some HTF cigars laying around and some very well aged cigars. Staff is great, they are more than accommodating. I havent ever actually used the lounge but Ive made at least 25 trips there, and every time I walked out with a bag or a box.

A damn dump! No personal service. Stuff piled up everywhere. Seats were sticky and flat out filthy. Very arrogant personnel and crappy cutters etc. Why did I spend 42.00 on a cigar and a drink? Not worth visiting I would evaluate other options.

Good selection of cigars, but they charge a $20 cut fee if you want to bring one of your own. Thats pretty ridiculous.
