I love Skechers. They are great shoes to wear around the office. My old shoes had seen their last day so I needed to buy about two new pair. The young lady behind the counter heard me, as I was trying to reel her into my excitement. After picking up several shoes and saying "I like these" I finally realized the other customer had to walk up to the counter to get help, so I did the same. Asked her for my size. At that point I realized she never asked how I was doing, welcomed me to the store, or came to check in on me, asking about my size like associates normally do in the shoe store. The associate was dry and unnaproachable and didnt seem like she wanted to help me. I figured maybe she was just having a rough day because nothing was standing between me and my Skechers. That was until a white couple walked in... The customer service completely changed. She ran from behind the counter, greeted the new customers as they walked in and asked how she could help them. If you havent gathered, I am not white and neither was the other customer in the store earlier. I was shocked to see this blatant poor service. I hadnt experienced anything like this since college. I sat the shoes back down and told her thank you, but I will not be purchasing anything today. That was hard because they had some really comfortable shoes and I liked the look, but I refuse to condone that kind of discrimination with any purchase. Id rather buy online or from another store that at least pretends to want my business.

10/14/16 Very unpleasant experience. Salesperson very cocky. One of the shoes rubbed a small place on my foot and I asked if I could try on on a different pair or just the right shoe of another and all I got was explanations of what might be rubbing. Knowing the cause was not going to stop the rubbing. Paying with an e-gift card was an ordeal. She kept insisting it had been redeemed and I knew it had not. Im not sure she the proper procedure for using e-gift cards. I still want a pair of the Sketchers style that rubbed but I will not be using that store. That was my second experience at that store and my last. Both experiences were unpleasant. Love the shoes but no more shopping at a Sketchers store. Just reviewed my receipt and I was to get 30% discount on entire purchase (scratch card) and only received discount on one pair. Guess I will be going back again to resolve this problem.

Thursday September the 29th 2016 could not break away the two sales people from talking to help. We wanted to purchase several pairs of shoes but the sale help was less than stellar!
