Since the Google reviews for this repair shop were so good, I called up and got quotes on fixing three different cell phones with broken screens. After getting a quick estimate (and letting me know that he doesnt have the tools for one of the three, since it was older), I decided to try my hand at fixing them myself using kits off of Amazon. After a couple of frustrating hours and a few tears, I was able to get the first of the three phones working, but the screen looked weird. I gave up and decided to bite the bullet and went in to get it repaired professionally. To my surprise, George took one look at it and told me that I neglected to take off one of the protective plastic sheets on the screen. He sent me on my way, rather than charging me, even after I asked how much he would charge to repair it, since I was in a rush. Lo and behold, he was right! However, after taking it apart and fixing it, I still had a problem where when I touched the screen, it looked like there was moisture under it, even though I was sure to clean it well with isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth before putting it back together. Again, I gave up and took it in to George. He just about refused to work on it, encouraging me to finish the job- I just needed some extra tape to provide the proper spacing, which he happily provided! It now works fine and if I had any experience, I wouldnt have scratched up the case getting the original glass off. If I ever need any work done on a phone, I will gladly take it to George. He encouraged me to fix it myself after seeing the work I had already done, rather than charging me for a quick repair job. I highly recommend him! Hopefully the next two go just as well- if not, I will definitely be in for help! He is very professional and appeared to enjoy teaching me how to help myself, given the opportunity. I definitely recommend his service to anyone in the area needing help with their devices.

I completely lost use of my cell phone for 12 hours which was simply torture! I took my phone to the Apple store and they told me they could easily repair it for alot of $$$$$. Needless to say that was not in my budget at that time so I walked out of the store. I had searched for a local cell phone repair store and emailed the store with my issue on their site. I immediately got a reply email back stating they could fix my cell phone and quoted me an extremely decent price. I rushed over to the store and met Mr. George who greeted me very warmly and immediately went to work on my phone. Less that 10 mins later I started to hear the chimes of all the text messages and voice mail messages that had come through on my phone. I was so over joyed I literally started crying in the store! Thank you so much for your EXCELLENT work repairing my phone and for your GREAT customer service. I have and will continue to recommend you to ALL my family and friends! Thank you!

I dropped my less than 2 month old iPhone 5S into a laundry sink along with the shorts I was wearing while working in the yard! I called a couple of phone repair places, and my local Verizon store, none of which would help me...but George at Alpharetta Cell Phone said, come on over, and Ill see what I can do...and this was on Labor Day no less...he "blew out" my phone, said that there was no guarantee it would continue working, but no corrosion had begun...and then, he refused our offer to pay him for his trouble. Later I called him to ask if he could replace the LCD display...but he said it might not be a good investment, to wait and see if the phone continued to work...wow, an honest, helpful service provider...so rare...you can bet where Ill be going if I ever need further service! Im almost (thats almost!) hoping I do have an occasion to reward such a helpful, and honest merchant, worthy of our support...thats hard to find these days...! Thanks, George.

Quick background, Ive been using the iPhone since the 3Gs, I have dropped my phone a million times, the only time the screen broke is when it was ran over. With that said, Ive had the same 6S repaired twice at this location. The employees are extremely professional and I cant complain about my service. 5 stars to that. I Asked after my first repair, and subsequent screen shatter if they use the same glass as apple, the reason I asked is because my phone fell off a counter and the screen broke. Which was kind of a shock considering the abuse it has been through before. I let it go... But after my second screen replacment, I sat down with the phone In my back pocket, as Ive done for years now, and when I pulled my phone out there was a shatter through the center of the screen. Long story long, Im concerned the quality of material is poor in comparison to the manufactorers. :-(

Summary: Great customer service, quick turn-around, and prices that are more than fair! Would definitely go again! Full Story: I tried to do some repair on my iPhone 5S myself, but I got a little in over my head. I had already ruined the battery, so I bagged up the parts in ziplock bags, labeled them, and took the whole thing over to George. He probably could have just said no to fixing the phone since I had already taken it apart. Instead, he was super helpful and explained what was actually wrong with the phone. As is turns out, the part I had purchased wouldnt have even fixed the issue. George showed me what was actually going wrong and had the phone fixed in a couple of hours. Ive done some shopping around on iPhone repair, so I can say with confidence that Georges price was more than fair. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in need of a phone repair.

I went in to get my Galaxy S3 fixed after the LCD screen had cracked. It was still able to charge and had working audio but the screen was completely blank. I explained my problem to Alpharetta cell phone repair in an email. Prices, expected results, and how long it would take was all explained. I came into the shop a couple weeks later to drop off the phone and receved excellent customer service and was told that it should be fixed before they close but if not he was willing to stay after to finish my phone repair. I call that going above and beyond. I ended up picking up my phone before the store closed but it was nice to have great dedication from the attendants. These are the best prices in the area I found to fix my phone. Many places were $70 more than what I paid and the results are amazing and my phone is in the best condition and completely functional.

I dropped my phone out on the Greenway getting a cardio workout in and cracked the screen. Its a new iPhone 6s and I was so discouraged. But I remembered this shop. Ive walked by it a million times on the way to the barber next door, so on my way home I decided Id stop in and see what they could do. I walked in at 6:50 p.m. about ten minutes before closing time. This guy named George says, "Yeah I can fix that. Ill have it done in 30 minutes before I go home." I went grocery shopping and came back to a phone that looked as good as new. It cost just shy of $200 to fix, which seems pricey, but its way better than buying a new phone. And George -- a small business owner -- was personable and stayed late to do it. Hes got my vote of confidence.
