As someone else said, yes there are times when there doesnt seem to be enough employees. Ive seen people ask for assistance and when told to wait just a moment as that clerk is already attending a line of people, they become enraged and leave. This is terrible behavior and their problem can only be solved by calling customer support and informing them that more employees are needed. There are only two registers here as it is a tiny store and I have seen one crash at least on two occasions. The employees become flustered and embarrassed, but they are always apologetic and helpful. Ive noticed that the afternoons on any day are the busiest so I prefer to shop later in the evening as they do not close until 9. Some of the younger employees are obviously college students, and while they dont always have insight on sewing or knitting, they certainly listen and can often lead me to a product if I know what it is I am looking for. Otherwise, they lead me to another associate that can hopefully explain what I need (once needed a shirt collar extender and could not for the life of me get out the right words!)

I have shopped Joanns for years. I have been to this store many times and 95% of the time there are never enough employees nor or they informed or helpful. I would suggest that most of them have never sewed anything before. The store is messy; unorganized; and out of date. With rare except, the employees attitudes are lacking. One lady named Carol was the one and only employee that has ever gone out of her way for me....over all of these years. This store needs to be updated; new management and certainly employee more people. Seems to me that with the job market as it is, that it would be advisable to hire now. I know that Joanns has lost lots of money from me because I chose to go to Hancocks rather than stand in line or search endlessly for fabrics that are not organized.

The employees here are very rude. One woman chose to correct my 4 year old son as he picked up an item from the shelf when I was standing right beside him. Seem to me the more appropriate thing to do would be to address me instead of taking the item from my son. I was very offended that an employee would touch him without speaking to me first. This is not the only unsatisfying experience I have had at this jo-anns. I prefer to shop elsewhere.

I drove 65 miles one way to see more junk on sale than the fabric. We need a store in Sebring so badly that everyone can afford. We have two that only carry the expensive fabrics that really cut into the paycheck. You could make a whole lot of happy shoppers if you would think about a store between Avon Park, Sebring and Lake placid.

the place is fine but its still 2 weeks til Christmas and they have nothing. my grandchildren wanted to make ornaments but theres no christmas- y stuff left. If it was October there would be tons of stuff.

I came in needing fabric I had no idea about and the staff was soooooo helpful that night and it was right before closing. They even told me about the coupons to save money on my tool that I bought.
