WORST EXPERIENCE EVER (RUDE STAFF, LIARS, SCAMS) -I had found a sofa set from this location but it was a bit too expensive at the time considering I had invested in moving quite the distance. The salesman offered me a promotion with their in house financing option. The delivery drivers had delivered the sofa to my place a week later BUT in the process of the delivery, one of the delivery drivers decided he was going to text on his phone and carry the couch in with the other hand (he was a young kid). The older man was yelling at him as he dropped the couch on the hardwood flooring NOT only DAMAGING the couch BUT ALSO THE HARDWOOD FLOORING and SCUFFED up the drywall in the process! I immediately said take it back I DONT WANT IT ANYMORE. The two guys packed it back in their truck and had me sign a document stating I am returning the couch due to damage. I immediately called customer service to explain everything to them. The Damage done to my apartment condo cost me 790.00!!!! I sent them the invoice thinking they would help out with this because it wasnt my fault at all. They said they would have an adjuster come view the damage and that NEVER HAPPENED! I Called them months later because I got a bill in the mail stating I owed them over 1000.00 for a couch I returned and they gave me a collection agency phone number to deal with them! So after Fighting back and forth with BADCOCK/COLLECTIONS finally a woman had said it would be unwinded and Id have a ZERO BALANCE. I had an alert showing something was delinquent on my credit report through Experian from BADCOCK which was received a few weeks ago! I called them up and now they just hang up on me or pretend to have someone call me back! The last thing I heard from them was hire an attorney or pay off the couch!! I NEVER RECEVIED THE COUCH AND THEY NEVER PAID ME FOR DAMAGING MY APARTMENT!!!

Im a first time customer. I ordered a bedroom set for myself, a bed for my daughter, and a bunk bed for my 2 daughters on 02/14/2015. They scheduled the delivery for 02/21/2015, which was fine. When they got there they were on time and put everything together except the bunk bed. They said some parts were not loaded on to the truck so I had to call on Monday to reschedule. I called on Monday to reschedule and they had no clue what I was talking about, they were not informed of what happened or what part was needed. I was told I would be called back after doing some research and was never called back. They scheduled me for a delivery without my permission by calling me on Thursday 02/26/2015 while Im at work, leaving me a message that they would be there on Friday 02/27/2015. I called back and asked why was I just hearing of this delivery on such short notice because I will be at work and wont be home. So they had to cancel that delivery and reschedule again for 03/07/2015. I was furious because my girls had to sleep on the couch due to their negligence and lack of communication. I had already thrown their old beds out the morning of 02/21/2015 because they told me to clear the space where the beds would be. I wish I would have stored it somewhere just in case something like this happened. In between these dates, I called corporate and got no help. It was just an all around terrible experience. I was going to return as a customer once my beds are paid off, but I will never do business with Badcock again, nor will I refer anyone there.

Walked in this store prepared and ready to pay cash for a dining set that was on sale. Waited nearly 30 minutes for a representative to help me!! Upon being helped I informed the associate exactly what set I wanted and I had mentioned this was on sale. I was immediately told that I needed to provide "proof" that it was on sale...really???? They had an ad right next to the counter which had the set shown on sale. Then the rep proceeded to have me fill all my information out on different forms, which later I was told this was a credit app. Apparently the rep did not understand that I wanted to pay cash. By this point I was late for a meeting and decided to return later to get the set. I returned the very NEXT day, less than 24 hours, to find out all sales ended and this set was no longer on sale. I then informed the new rep and he mentioned he could nothing. I called main headquarters and apparently their communication with the store manager produced no results. So badcocks policy is if we make a mistake - YOU PAY FOR IT. I will NEVER shop at any badcock store again.

If I could rate them less than 1 star I would. If you want furniture go anywhere but here. This is the first time I have ever written a review but the service was so bad I feel compelled to say something. If I stop one person from the headaches I have experienced it will be worth it. So what happened?.... 1) never called, never showed up on delivery date. 2) When I called the afternoon we were supposed to get delivery because we had not gotten delivery, manager would not do anything to get it to me except see where he could squeeze it in later that week. Even though he admitted it was his sales persons fault. 3) Refused to refund even a portion of the delivery fee even though they did not deliver on time. 4) manipulated the truth during the sales process to get the sale. Majority of what they said turned out to be lies. 5) Refused to honor 1 year warranty 6) hung up on me In all, unless you wish to get a taste of what hell might be like, do not do business with this company... You will get burned.

Badcock in itself is one of the worst, if not THE worst furniture company and that is because of its corporate office and its credit policies. It is a secondary in-House credit that approves anybody; hence, Im not surprised that most of the reviews here are only ONE star…I would not even consider giving one star due to Badcocks tactics and how the company treats its customers! Like another review I read here, if you pay your bill ahead you will still be considered LATE and be penalized for it and your credit report will show as 30 days late! The company sets its policies to deliberately mark customers credit so that you cannot qualify to get credit elsewhere and therefore have no other alternative but to purchase their poorly manufactured furniture. Now that I have rebuilt my credit I will be going back to Rooms To Go (Citi Bank) or another primary credit furniture store and I would advise other to do the same.

I ended up here by chance. I stopped in at the Clermont store and was treated very rude. After going to about 4 different furniture stores and ending up at Baers across the street, which had beautiful furniture but was a bit out of my price range, we saw Babcock across the street and decided to try this one last store before giving up for the day. We were greeted by Willy who was extremely nice, knowledgeable and informative. We found a set that was perfect and the price was great. The only problem was that they cant tell you only what time they will deliver on, only what day. But big deal. So you spend a day off waiting for your new furniture to show up. 1st world problems.
