Whoa - - - reading a few less than complimentary evaluations. THE Green Boutique is THE most marvelous little store with enormous heart. I have never had one bad or uncomfortable experience in twenty plus years! Going back to the little house boutique, and flower pots! Maybe the disgruntled should consider the smile on their own faces - first! The entire staff is beyond helpful, and always going an extra step to assist me. PERHAPS ... as I heard one sad soul say, "I can get this cheaper at Target." I wanted so badly to say, please go...enjoy the Target mentality! Merchandise from TGB, is unique. Roz and Matt are a joy! The Staff, terrific! But then I tend to smile a lot, and that just might be the clue to people feeling warm, no matter what side of the cash register you are on. There are times my purchases have been "expensive" - but I am treated kindly if I leave with buying just a single seasonal greeting card! Roz and Matt both know I shop only at The Green Boutique...for others and for my own wants. XO & XO Madeleine

The Green Boutique has been a really frustrating experience the last few times I have went in. I have been there 3 times and because of their awesome/unique merchandise I have dropped over $150.00 each time I went there. However, this past weekend may have been the last straw. The majority of the staff is unfriendly and pompous acting (mostly behind-the-counter and sales clerks near the clothes). The only staff member who ever smiles or makes an effort with us that I have gotten to interact with is Madelyn. I am close to her age and youd think she would be the one with the attitude problem but embarrassingly, its the adults. There is a blond lady who checks out customers who is absolutely sour at every interaction. I love the store items but my family and I left last weekend feeling completely unwelcome by all staff with the exception of the young girl. (note we have not interacted with the male much though he does seem far more polite). The Green Boutique gets 5 stars for merchandise and 0 for customer service which is why they received a 3.

Brdway Bound

This store is pure magic. The selection, the presentation, and the prices. Two small things; the staff is not invested in selling to you until you checkout. I visited 4 times in a week while on a trip and had sales women stand next to me and never engage in the sale. Maybe its their philosophy or strategy as the joint still seems to pack em in. I just thought it was slightly rude. They need a few younger, energetic women in there to schmooze and truly, help. I had baskets full of merchandise! Second, the hours are rotten! 10-6? With people that have careers? Please. Expand to the working demographic and add a late night or two. 7 pm or 8 pm would suffice. Overall, Im pleased- but it took too much effort on my part as the consumer.

Ive been a Green Boutique customer since it was a charming nursery. Roz is wonderful and is always friendly and a huge supporter of our community. , However, the past few years I have felt unwelcome by the sales staff almost every time I come in. Today had a very condescending conversation with a member of the staff as I tried to return/exchange an item. I left the store feeling an inch tall, as if I was out of line to make such a request. Not sure that they have anything in that store worth feeling like that.

I love the Green Botique. The atmosphere is friendly, the gifts are unlike anything you can find in the mall. Matt is always so helpfull and knowledgable about the Sid Dickens tiles they sell there. (My Favorite Collectable.) I would highly recomend the Green Botique weather your looking for original art work or a memorable gift......its the place to go.

Their only job is to help me find what I am looking for and ring it up. However the sales women in this store seem to be bother by customers. Every time I go to the Green Boutique I get the feeling I am a burden to these women, thry are very snooty and act as if they dont really need my business.
