PUBLIX MANAGERS TAKE NOTE - ONE of THEEEEE best shopping experiences ive ever had (Monday, 6/12/17 between 3:30 and 5:30pm). As friends and family know, I rely - many days - on an electric wheelchair to face some of the usual challenges of life such as grocery shopping. This particular Publix Supermarket is usually quite crowded regardless of time of day. The store is clean, well stocked, well lit, comfortably cooled, and most definitely well staffed. Because of the probability of rain, I showed up to do my shopping today without my wheelchair hoping to find a motorized shopping cart but there was none. TABITHA, the first shining star of the Publix staff, found me in Aisle 2, after I had resolved I would have to "suffer," through todays shopping excursion without it, presented me with a fully charged motorized cart, helped me transfer the few groceries I already placed in my full size cart and even located my son (who was still searching for a cart), to let him know shed found one. WOW! In PRODUCE, RICO was my next "shining star," who helped me navigate the high shelves, and chose the best produce. My final "shining star," was JAMES who escorted my son and I out to our vehicle in a most professional and courteous manner. While I may not be able to name the Managers of this particular Publix, I did experience some exceptional staff showing up to work sharing his or her best self with the rest of us. That, at least to me, means this particular Publix has EXEMPLARY MANAGERS AS WELL.

We live in Tarpon Springs and want very much to shop where we live but our Public sometimes makes that difficult. Four times Ive placed orders for items they dont stock or are out of stock on and have never once heard back from them. Three times Ive ordered birthday cakes and both of the last two times theyve gotten the order wrong. The second time the bakery manager was wonderful but the third time I spoke with someone else and that was a very frustrating experience. I gave up on the custom orders from Tarpon and started ordering from the Palm Harbor store at Alderman. Every order (3 to date) has worked perfectly. And Ive bought at least 7 custom order cakes from the bakery at the Dunedin store and every time the order was exactly what I wanted. The obvious conclusion is the Tarpon Store has some broken ordering processes. Although there are many wonderful employees at the Tarpon store who truly try to make shopping a pleasure, well do custom orders at a different store.

I would give another star but it reeks of cigarettes just walking up to reach the front entrance doors of the Tarpon Springs Publix. People and employees on break are always sitting on these front entry umbrella tables and along the walkway stinking up the place. I really dont want to see the people handling & preparing my food with their nasty habits in front of my face as i walk inside (first impressions). I used to go there for the clean store inside , healthy food choices, and wonderful staff. ...but the second hand smoke stench doent make it worth it anymore. Its a shame because all of Tarpon is going this nasty way (try walking up to Walmart- you will need to shower when you get home- yuk!!) Winn Dixie in Tarpon is a little better than these two now at least- its not so obvious with the front smoking. Also, the Palm Harbor Publix on Alt. 19 is so much better and doesnt tolerate this. This is my new store to shop, even though its 5 more miles to drive.

Tarpon Springs Publix, where shopping is horrible! They are constantly out of stock for many of the products that I look for. There are obviously issues with the supply chain. After performing a SWOT analysis, I can conclude that this location has more weaknesses/threats compared to strengths/opportunities. Many of the internal weakness included lack luster customer service, not being greeted by associates, having associates not know where products are, higher prices than other competitors, dirty bathrooms, deficient inventory (many items missing/low on stock). Many of the external threats include lower prices at competitor store, better weekly sales at other stores, Walmart now has grocery pickup, many competitors are improving in customer service, many competitors have a better supply chain, etc. Reviewed by a business student.

Horrible!! I was going to buy one of those ice drinks. Ya this might be stupid but its a big deal to me. I even took a photo with the drink before going into the shopping line. I placed my ice drink with all of my other groceries and when i was done buying everything i left publix. I noticed the dident put my ice in the bag so i checked . It wasent even on the recipt and i got really mad. I went back inside to ask them and they where giving me attitute not even listening to me. I forgot the guys name but he and the checking lady where acting like its normal. What if i was buying soemthing else more expensive. Is this the way they would treat me? I guess so! I am really mad and it looks like i will be shopping at Winn-Dixie from now on!!!

I have just moved into the Tarpon Springs area. I also have been a Publix shopper for many years. The store in Tarpon Springs is the worst store I have ever been. It is not the staff it is the store itself. The aisles are so small that people are constantly hitting each other with their carts. The store is so small compared to most other Publix. The parking is horrible and too small for the store. People are constantly honking and trying not to hit each other to find a space. Tarpon Springs is growing but this store certainly has not!!

Horrible!!!! Used to be my favorite store. Not sure what is going on ,but not the same. Ordered subs online ,brought in confirmation number and said they must have misplaced ...twice. So 2nd time I just figured I would get a rotisserie chicken. This was 6pm,they said we were told not to make past 5, because they are on a pilot program to see how customers would react and manage waste. What you were doing worked, get back to the basics. The worst customer you can piss off is a woman,we are a majority of your business.

After being a very satisfied customer of Publix for decades I have never encountered an associate so disrespectful and condescending. Her name was Ashley. While looking asking for assistance to find a few items she had a very negative attitude and gave little to no "Publix quality" customer service. I believe she needs to be evaluated and watched closely so she does t continue to lose valued customers.

Only giving dislike due to consistently not having online sub orders done at pick up time. Usually they are just starting the online order at said pick up time. And associates offer no discount for inconvenience. Im starting to do all my shopping and deli orders at Crystal Beach Publix they seem to get orders done on time.
