Someone needs to pull a stick out from his @$$ before his bad behavior chases away even more customers.Squareville just lost our business based on the owners rude behavior when we were in there recently.Listen you arrogant little prick, you need to tell customers ahead of time that your clothing isnt allowed into any of the rooms other than the one in the front. Your passive aggressive psuedo helpful grabbing of items that customers are planning to buy " to hold them while they shop" is not working for ya. Its obvious that this guy is paranoid and has no customer or social skills. Dont waste your money here folks. Of course this explains why theres never any cars out front whenever we drive by, this guy chases people off.Hows that working out for ya pal????

Wow, Im glad Im not the only one! Lots of neat stuff but the other people I was with and I only stayed there a few minutes because of the treatment of the staff. My friend just moved to Tampa and were going in to by some cool furniture! Im sure they get a lot of shady kids in there but they must realize not everyone is "shady". I have an eye problem (macular degeneration) and honestly did not see the "no drinks" sign. You wouldve thought I tried to steal, not carry in a closed water bottle. They followed us around like we were going to damage things or something! It was very uncomfortable. We left right after the owners outburst and I will never go back. We found what we wanted elsewhere. Try ARTpool in St. Petersburg for better service and better selection!

I also experienced the rudeness and terrible atmosphere. I entered the store on the phone and tried to walk around someone (an employee? the owner?) but he stepped into my way. When I looked up he cleared his throat and pointed to a sign that said "Please end all phone calls." First of all, why do I need to end my call? And secondly, couldnt he have asked me to do so in a more polite way? Also, as I was browsing, a customer went up to him and asked if the store carried something. He snapped back with "Of course not. You shouldnt even have had to ask me that" in a very condescending tone. After that I walked out because I didnt want to be in that kind of environment anymore.

The owner of this store must take pleasure in being incredibly rude to customers. Every one of my friends has had a terrible experience with this guy. I called him to ask if he had any suspenders and he asked what it was for, I told him my Oktoberfest costume and he said "this isnt a costume shop!" and hung up on me. I dont understand why he has to make people feel like crap, his store is cool so all he has to do is sit back and let it make money but he goes out of his way to be mean to customers. He should be working at the DMV, not in a cool vintage store.

Whenever we head up to Tampa we stop by. Always great turnover and cool stuff. They lean to the 70s and 60s retro stuff so if you want older antiques go to an antique shop (DUH!). I scored on two wire chairs from the sixties and a cool bubble light. All was very affordable and the staff has been nothing but friendly without being phoney. The thrift shops in St. Pete were very picked over so this place always makes it worthwhile to drive the 45 minutes from Sarasota.

This fun little shop is like a trip back in time. With vintage clothing from the 60s 70s and 80s you are sure to find the perfect costume piece or some groovy little dress. Prices were fair on clothing, but furniture pricing was a little high. Not many size options, but you have that problem with vintage. But, even if you dont buy, its fun to have a look and who knows you might find that Tshirt that you used to love.

I bought a beautiful table there - I knew what I was looking for, I asked questions, got answers. If you can figure out things on your own, know what you like and dont need someone to hold your hand then I can only imagine where these complaints stem from. The way I look at it - this guy loves cool old stuff and is inviting you into his space, if you want to buy stuff - do it - its not Macys ok - its art -

Not a very large selection of vintage clothing compared to other vintage shops in town.the furniture was kind of impressive but none of that matters because the environment was horrible. The dude working when i went acted like we were bothering him by going in his store. While there was nothing that i found that i had to have, i might have been more willing to shop if it was a more friendlier atmosphere!

I was looking for a Medium shirt, but it appeared that the only sizes available were S and L. I asked the store clerk if they had my size, and he just said, "everything we have is out and a small wont fit you." From there, he proceeded to tell me how much he hates it when "women pour themselves into shirts that dont fit." Keep in mind, Im a size 4. Thank god I dont have a complex about my weight...

If u could please stop posting your stupid stickers everywhere that would be lovely..I have to pick it off myself with my poor little fingers.. it is not fair to me for u to advertise your store and put me through misery. On top of that it peeled the paint off of my poles around my business and I now have to pay someone to come by and paint them.. thanks have a blessed day

I always enjoy stopping into Squaresville when Im town.I live in Orlando so a day trip to Tampa is no problem.I collect old items from my youth (60s & 70s).I usually pick up a couple of cool things at Squaresville.Very fair prices on vintage decor and there kitchy t-shirts are great too.The store is great and fun to see all the stuff from when I was a kid.5 stars from me.

Walked into the store about 20 min before sign said they closed. Dude at register stopped what he was doing to turn to me and announce loudly "Ummmmmm hi.... were closed." then returned to ringing up his last customer. I was speechless. Saturday hours on website are WRONG. Drove pretty far to check this place out. Awkward. Uncomfortable. Will never go back.

The man i spoke with was sooooooooooo RUDE to me! I will NEVER go here again, Its all about customer service and in this economy if they think they can treat Customers like that and keep their doors open their seriously STUPID! I would rather spend my money at the mall or anywhere else where people are not so snotty and too busy.

I have been in several times and have always been treated nice! the owner is always decent to me, cut me deals on clothing and furniture. The selection in both sections is fantastic! He really knows his stuff. The prices are reasonable too! If your your into vintage this place is worth a visit.

Great find. This store is a keeper. Went there for some Halloween costume needs.I picked up this cool throwback Florida State t-shirt and kitchy gifts for friends. There furniture was very mid century and funky. It was fun visiting there today and I will return soon.Staff was helpful. Peace
