This Salvation Army has the best customer service of ANY store Ive shopped in! They beat out Macys, Dillards, J C Pennys, etc. They always have plenty of helpful smiling staff. Ive heard people complain about not agreeing with prices they see on some items. You have to remember they receive massive amounts of items and no two are alike and if they are the same item they might not be in the same condition. I worked in retail for several years for a major department store where even though they have hundreds of identical items and the use of scanners, things still got misspriced due to human error. Try to put yourself in their shoes. Imagine being faced with sorting hundreds of pounds of things and trying to come up with a price. Everything except furniture goes 50% after a certain time period anyway. They wrap breakable items carefully. They also clean and sanitize the furniture which is always a great value. Best of all they treat everyone with respect. Any retail store could learn from them. (by the way, Im not a relative or friend of anyone who works there)

Terrible thrift store. DO NOT SHOP HERE!! The pricing is absolutely ridiculous. Every piece of furniture they sell is as expensive, if not more, than a furniture store. Its appalling that these people would gouge shoppers who are obviously on a budget. Also, not a huge deal, but Ive been here about 3-4 times over the past year and a half, just to see if they ever change (they dont) and not ONCE has any staff ever said hi, hey, good afternoon, how are you , are you looking for something in particular OR thanks for coming, have a great day, come back soon. Nothing. Not a peep. There are a TON of great thrift stores in dunedin. The sherrifs youth ranch has tons of furniture off alt 19. Main Street thift shop has a billion clothes and every other week does 50 percent off all clothing on wednesdays. Do NOT give these crooks your money. Go shop somewhere that will actually give you a bargain. Donate money at xmas to the salvation army bellringers. Just dont spend 800 dollars on a granny couch (not exaggerating)

I actually used to shop here much more often than I do now. The people here are generally very nice, but the pricing is getting a bit questionable. Seems like the 50 % color tag of the week is now used to get rid of stuff no one purchased at full price, rather than marking things to make treasure hunters want to come back again.....I do agree with another review that stated some stuff in here is priced higher than similar items at Wally World. Furniture prices are usually really good, and I do recommend this place to folks who are looking for some good used furniture.

Pretty good prices, but if they know what theyve got, its usually only like %15-20 cheaper than retail. For example, you can buy a copy of "Super Mario RPG" for the Super Nintendo for about $40. Ive seen them put it out for sale for $35. With that being said, they have had games like "Mega Man X" for Super Nintendo for like $3, so they sometimes dont know what they have.

They are kind of theft, 3weeks ago i lost my baby stroller in this store next day i called them and let them know about, they said we are working to find it, but finally they said we have sale it and suggested me a broken one. After i said you have to back my stroller or the money thay said i have no policy for money return although i had bought them about 400$.

Passing thru town. PRICES ARE SHOCKING for a salvation army thrift store. $6 for one glass that walmart sells for a set of 4! The person who prices must think they are an antique dealer, lol. They obviously know nothing. The employees here (all men) have real bad attitudes too. I cant understand how they can stay in business. I will never go back.

Usually pretty busy. Can find a wide range of things like furniture, clothes, rugs, small appliances, etc. They have many discount days during the week and on and around various holidays. Multiple locations and places where you can donate you used goods. Decent prices if your looking to buy something. Staff is very nice.

They have a huge selection of clothing, accessories, and household items. 50% off all clothing every Wednesday makes the Salvation Army a very affordable place to buy clothes. The Salvation Army has a great program to get people off the street and working, so Im happy to contribute to a good cause by shopping here.

Way TOO proud of their stuff. I saw tons of clothing items with holes and stains that were marked $5-8. Torn up shoes marked $10. Walmart brand used clothing marked higher than new in the store. Old stained furniture for hundreds. Ridiculous. Go to the Wesley Chapel store, much better quality items, lower prices.

Prices too high. Staff is extremely disrespectful and rude. Overheard two of them talking called one of the customers "white trash". This after he was patiently waiting in line yet the cashiers were taking others not in line and he spoke up. Rude staff, overpriced, why bother?

Name brand items-many brand new with tags still attached at very reasonable prices. Great hardworking & friendly management and staff. Most of the furniture is in mint condition and if your timing is right, you can find just what your looking for at half off the regular price!

Good place for books and movies. Also framed art. I bought a religious large, beautifully framed picture on sale for 25.00, which was selling for over $400.00 on TBS faith station. Resold it as it was just not right for any of my wall areas.

Creme de la creme of thrift stores. Everything is organized by type and color making clothes shopping easy. More expensive than neighbouring stores, but if SA puts it out for sale, its quality.
