The service was Stellar. Dwight and Camilia know how to run a store and treat people right. I was on my way out of town on friday night of labor day weekend. The battery was dead. Dwight said dont worry. get a jump and come in and I will take care of you. And he did. He even honored a full warranty replacement. He had me in and out in fifteen minutes. And he had other people in the store. He is organized. And Camilia at the register, she is great. Not only can she advise you on product but she is so professional and well spoken when educating you. She turns the computer screen so you can see the product information. They both cut to the chase and get everyone served. Noone waits. Camilia and Everton have been at the store a long time. This is not a turnover situation. A tribute to Dwight. And Mannie in the shop can have a tire replacement and a repair going and you drive up for battery replacement and he acknowledges you and can multitask and get you in and out too. He even changed the battery with the car running so I would not loose memory on my electronics !! While he is getting the battery in and out in five minutes he is teaching you if you ever have to do it yourself, why you should remove the negative terminal first and when installing hook the negative up second. He didnt have to do that. He had enough going on. In contrast, the Coral Springs store run by Atif, wanted to sell me the battery for $150 even though the 3 year battery which has a scannable tag was not even two years old AND he admitted he was going to send the battery in to BOSCH for credit for his books !!! He wouldnt even give me a 20 % discount !! When I asked him to call Dwights store to check his inventory Atif wouldnt do it ! And then he said he wouldnt even sell me a battery because I was asking for some sort of concession on a dead battery his own equipment showed needing replacement. Granted, Paul at Coral Springs is a very attentive and helpful employee, but Atif knows how to turn away customers. Drive the extra 5 miles and go down to Dwights store. I have had repeated great service there on Commercial Blvd. over the years. I even decided to pick up extra wiper blades for a different vehicle before I left for Melbourne with the new battery and Camilia pointed out to me a value sale on high end blades. They are tops.

5/17/2013: My brakes are fixed !!! This location has a new manager and he did everything possible to resolve my issue to make me happy :-) He contacted me on his days off, and made sure service was done when ever I was available. I Thank You Peter and so does my Toyota ! ************************************************************************* I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE REGARDLESS OF THE PRICE !!! BEEN WAITING ALMOST 2 MONTHS FOR THEM TO FIX MY BRAKES !! I have been a Sears auto customer for years. I switched to Pep Boys because they had better prices and would save me about $35 on my brake service. I paid about $130 for back brakes. They were not done correctly and I had to return that afternoon to get them adjusted as they were making noise. Thumping when applied. Two weeks later I brought the car back again to have the brakes fixed. The problem was not solved. I was told they were going to order new parts at no cost to me. Two weeks passed with out any information from them. When I called to check I was informed the manager handling my issue was off and I would need to call back the next day. This manager did not try to look up any information, he clearly did not want to help. I had to ask him to try and look in the computer for any information. When he did I was informed that no records were found on anything ordered for my car. I called back the following day and left a message which was never returned. Again I called back and was informed that no parts had arrived. The manager, Juanita, confirmed to me she had 2 seperate phone numbers to contact me when they arrived. She was quick to ask if my car was still making thumping noises when brakes were applied. She sounded very suprised when I advised her YES. It is now 3 weeks later and I have yet to receive any update from them as to when they expect to fix the poor brake job done on my auto. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE REGARDLESS OF THE PRICE !!!

Another amazing experience at Pep Boys! Today my daughter and I spent over 4 hours at Pep Boys. For a 9 year old it could have been traumatic but it wasnt. See, I have been coming to this Pep Boys since 2011 after my separation. As a woman taking care of the car by myself for the first time by myself was overwhelming but from day one, Pep Boys took care of me. Omarie gave us great service as always. Usually for car maintenance, I make sure to do it when my daughter is at her dads for the weekend, today the car started shaking and the check engine light did not stop flashing, so I went straight to Pep Boys. Omarie greeted us and to my daughter that was kool. After getting the car diagnosed Omarie and Tom explained to us what was wrong. They advised us of how long it would take to repair and the cost. They assured us the job would be compelted by 5:30pm. 3 hours and 30 minutes at Pep Boys, oh boy. The waiting area had a TV and some movies, my daughter played on her tablet using the Pep Boys wifi, and Omarie came and checked on us. Gave us periodic updates on the car. He offered us snacks and beverages. They provided us with amazing service today. My daughter was neither hungry or thristy and she was entertained. When the car was all done at exactly 5:35pm, Omarie checked us out. He then walked us to the car and insured that the car was working. The car sounded better than it did before. Smooth. It turned on with no sounds or struggle. Omarie assured us if anything is wrong we had warranty on the work. He also repaired one of my lights and he made sure that I got my reward points used. He gave us his card and told us about Pep Boys towing services. I will be using you guys over AAA and day! I am beyond please with my service! Thank you Omarie, Tom and Dwight! Thank you Pep Boys!!

August 8, 2014 Re: Omarie Chang Last year I purchased a set of tires from Pep Boys Auto and have been having difficulties getting them balanced perfectly. I called Pep Boys customer service and reported the issue. My issue was managed in such professional and courteous manner. I told the customer service representative that I dont want to go back to the original store where I purchased the tires. She directed me to the store at 7305 West Commercial Blvd. where I met the General Manager Dwight Anderson, who put me in touch with Omarie Chang. This is where professionalism, courteousness, and honesty begins. Omarie, after careful observation and testing of the tires, he observed that the tires were the incorrect rating, they were definitely of poor quality and were not able to be adjusted to the recommendations/specifications for my car. Mr. Omarie Chang, walked me through the the process of tire match and recommendations for my car. The right tires were not available in his store and he took the time to search stores all over Florida until he found the right ones. Between ordering the tires and having them installed, Omarie, kept updated all the way with frequent phone calls which I truly appreciated. This morning, I had the tires installed and in his usual professional manner he informed me to let him, Dwight or Peter know how well the tires are performing. I must say professionals like Omarie Chang, Service Writer at Pep Boys is hard to fine and should be commended for his wonderful work. Thank you Omarie for taking care of my car. Leroy
