I feel obligated to share my experience. I Spoke with the owner at the store and he gave me a price to fix the front, back and battery of my phone. The price was a bit too much but it was cheaper to just fix the rear and battery at which time he advise the battery was 30 and the rear was 65 which would bring it to about 100 with tax. I said I would think about it and let him know and I left. I went back to the location twice both times there was a sign on the door and people waiting out front in the middle of the day, during business hours... I did not have time to wait so I left. Finally I called the store and got someone on the phone who said they were the owners brother. I asked him to verify the cost for just the battery as I purchased a new phone and just wanted to turn the phone on to obtain data. He confirmed the $30 and I decided to come in the next day. Fortunately the owner was there however he now said the price was 35 because I wasnt getting the back done as well. I wasnt aware there was a bundle deal but he said he could not honor the 30 unless i was getting the back. It wasnt that big of a deal so I decided to just have it done. He said I could bring the phone in once the battery was ordered or I could leave it with him and it would be done in a couple days. I said I didnt want to have to come in twice so I left the phone with him then. a week and a half went by until I called to check in and see if it was ready he said to come in ....I come to the store and he explains to me that he sent it to "HIS GUY" that tried to remove the battery and it was so bad and got so hot that it melted to the screen and the only way to remove it would shatter the front screen which was very expensive. Total he said it would cost 220 for just the front and battery not including the back. With the back it would be more. I expressed to him how important the data was and if there was anyway he could just get it on, without it costing me a fortune because I already had a new phone. He said "HIS GUY" even heated it up to try and remove the battery or something but it was so melted there was no way. I asked him if maybe samsung could help me and he said to google them and ask but they will be much more expensive. I look and the nearest one was 15 minutes. Apparently there was nothing he could do that wouldnt cost 220+ and i left the store again. I saw online under samsung a repair shop in the area on the way to samsung and decided to stop in. They were really nice and took a look at the phone the guy said theres no way for the battery to melt onto the front screen and whoever told you that lied to you. He then took the phone apart right in front of me and popped the battery right out. He said for $55 he could replace the battery and the back within 30 minutes...... I couldnt believe it. Yet sure enough they did. A week and a half I waited for the boost store only to be completely lied to. I had bought items at the boost store before and been to that location on a couple of occasions just stopping in. I thought nothing bad of him just but this has absolutely showed me his true colors and i felt compelled to share my experience with all of you. Hopefully I save you a bit of money and aggravation.
