Aldi is a grocery store based in Germany with stores all over Europe and growing in America. The store is to the likes of Trader Joes where everything is cheap and generic brand. The food is good, just like the food you expect to get at the big boys like Safeway or Giant but made by a unknown brand with the same ingredients as the "name" brand. Aldi has their stores around the same size as a Trader Joes and usually has around 6 to 8 aisles. In those aisles you find the food that you want, usually stacked up in boxes, not shelves to save money. Once the boxes are freed up they set them aside for those that dont want to pay for the reusable bags they have. Aldi is also known to have small gadgets and electronics for the home. A typical Aldi trip consists of going to the store, getting a quarter out of your pocket and inserting it in the cart (you get the quarter back later. They do this so you wont leave the cart in the parking lot. Very efficient way of avoiding cart dings on your car), going inside the store, grabbing your generic groceries at a much decent price than the overpriced name brands at the "Supermarket", going home with some extra money in your pocket. Maybe making a trip to the other supermarket since Aldi doesnt stock up on certain things the supermarket does like junk food.

Just came home from Aldo in Saint Cloud, Florida and the cashier (Bridgette) was literally throwing all items in the cart. I asked her twice to be more gentle and ignored me. At the end, she said "Im sorry, we are timed" Now, Im putting the groceries away and a jar of spaghetti sauce had opened in my bag. It is a big mess. There is sauce everywhere. I called the customer service phone number and did not respond. I have been an Aldis customer for many years and never have been mistreated and disrespected by any other cashier before. No listed phone to call for a price had to drive there to check a price, didnt buy anything. Wasted way more of my time than needed when I could have gotten a price over the phone. Heres the best part, when I placed a complaint online they had the audacity to give me a phone number to call. It was almost comical. I will buy from save a lot instead..... They have a phone when I have a question not a complaint.

Clean place and great prices. Not as much variety and known brands as other supermarkets, but thats how they keep their prices low. Make sure to have a quarter with you for the shopping carts, you get it back when you return the cart. Also take your own bags or you can use some of the empty boxes they have to carry your groceries since they dont give grocery bags, again to cut down on costs.

Very poor service just left the store and the cashier put all my groceries in a car then asked me to get my things out of the car and started loading another customers merchandise didnt even wait for me to get my things out before she started loading. I was with my two year old by the way.

Love to buy here. Your spend on Public or Walmart, here is almost half of the total of those grocery stores. Good quality of products for half the prices almost everything. Just have to know which ones is the good ones because there are some products are not good.

Aldi is a great place to shop cheaper except if you have children who sit in the cart. At the end when you have to pay you have to switch out your cart which could be a problem for some parents.

My favorite local supermarket. Nice variety and has a European feel about it it. Publix checkers are friendlier, but prices at aldfi are better and their own brands are usually high quality
