Nothing wrong with the staff here. In my experience, Winn Dixie is a tad over priced on there products, and their locations are a bit dumpy. I happened to stop on a rainy night, and there were some shady looking characters hanging out under the awning. I just wanted to rent a movie at the Redbox, but my kid had to use the bathroom so we popped in for a minute. Walked past another shifty character, who had a couple of things in his hands and looked like he was just picking up random stuff to appear busy. A couple of minutes later, he came around the corner of the bathroom hallway with items in hand. He jumped, obviously surprised to see me, then greets me and sets the items by the bathroom door. My kid walked out after that, with shifty guy not too far behind us. Maybe it was just bad timing, but I wouldnt go back to this store again. Especially at night. Too many better stores to choose from.

To be honest, my favorite things about this particular Winn-Dixie are its proximity to my home, and the fact that its open an hour later than Publix. The layout and the style is kind of dated. The prices are generally lower than Publix, but not as good as Wal*Mart or Aldi. Its where I do all my unanticipated shopping, like after Ive done my weekly shopping and realize Ive forgotten something. Its pretty clean for an older store, and usually not super crowded.

They sell items that are either expired, or about to expire. The items that are in the bakery and in the deli have been relabelled as being fresh, but in fact may be from the morning, or yesterday evening. Really low quality. They never bother to clean under the isles, I wonder how old that food is under the shelves? Filthy place, and the management is laxidasical about the issues. For the love of your health, dont shop here.

Parking .... Parking .... Parking. The new addition is really a pain in the butt. You cant find a place to park and the lot is always over run. The prices are sub par and the inside smells bad on a regular basis. Really needs a new location, or at best a revamp.

A St.Augustine grocery store that has been there since the 1980s and was formally known as Pantry Pride. I have fond memories of that store and can remember getting free cookies at the deli and lots of people always there on Saturdays and Sunday

The store is clean and well organized like most Winn-Dixies. The store is located in a busy shopping strip with little parking, and exiting can be a little bit of a hassle, but it is not far from beautiful downtown St. Augustine.
