Ive been to this Ace Hardware several times since they opened because they are right down the road from me, I dont believe that I will go back because these people that work there are very very unfriendly and even thou the neighborhood here surrounding this store is a very nice neighborhood with very nice people living in it, they always look at me and probably others that walk in like were going to steal from them or rob them, I passed it off the first half a dozen times because I thought maybe they were just having a bad day like we all do from time to time, today I went in to get some wood stain and wood screws, said Hi to the guy at the counter, he just looked at me, I walked around to where the wood stain is and seen an employee at the paint mixing station he looked at me, I said hello how are you? He just turned his head the other way and ignored me. Well thats enough for me Home Depot is several times farther away but thats where Im going from now on, And you people that own or just work as an employee at this Ace store need a few more sessions in customer relations.

Ace is the place! You need to replace a handle for a hammer that belonged to you dad and is very special to you? You cant get it at Lowes or Home Depot .... they dont carry them. Seems they dont have time for people that use their tools either. Got lots of strange looks from their employees too when I produced it from my pocket. Home Depot Associate: "Oh, you broke your hammer, they are over here" Me: "No, there is nothing wrong with this one. I just need a need handle" Home Depot Associate: (After long puzzled look) "I am pretty sure we dont carry those due to liability issues" .... and walks away. Thank You, Ace Hardware for remaining a Real Hardware Store!

In January and February of this year I visited the store quite a lot. I made several purchases there with the kind help and knowlageable people in the store. It is a place quite close to my house and was easy to find. I cant say all that Id like to because it would take too long. Dont miss going there for all your hardware needs. They just happened to be a local dealer for firearms which I found by using Davidsons on the web. If I wanted it they could get it for me. They also carry a wide assortment of ammunition so I made myself at home. Thank you Owen for all your personal help.

If you are looking for a local business with good customer service, do yourself a favor and keep looking. When you go in there, you will get the feeling that if you need help, you are putting them out. Their attitude is really one of total superiority. I will never return.
