Short story: Dont bother ordering a keg from them. Long story: Walked in last Thursday (7/11) to inquire about ordering a keg and to check out their selection. The lady at the counter was helpful and told me all I needed to do was call in the keg order and give them a week. I opted to call in the next day to order a pony of Yuengling, the gent I talked to said theyd get it on the list and call when its in. I decided to give them a call this Thursday (7/18) to get an ETA, that guy said I was supposed to "call in to confirm the order" and that I had talked to the "new guy", he told me to wait on the line and hed try to get it for me the next day, honestly sounded like he didnt want to go to the trouble of dealing with me, and told me it should be in Friday. Called Friday afternoon, the guy I talked to said hed call the distributor and call me back. When he did, he told me that there was an issue with the rain and the truck was having problems. They called me later in the afternoon and said the truck wouldnt be arriving till 9 PM or Saturday (7/20) between 10-11 am, made a comment about the truck driver not wanting to do a late night delivery, and I was more agreeable to that too. So being Sunday, they called me and said that Yuengling was out of stock. I thanked them for being useless to me, and went about my business. Constructive Criticism: Blaming the "new guy" only means the "old guys" arent doing their job training people. If it does turn out to be a training issue and you have a customer making a special order, get back with that customer right away and let them know what needs to be done. I would have rather been told Thursday when I checked the ETA that I was out of luck, so I could look someplace else, than be told the day I need it that the product is out of stock.

This place used to have a very knowledgeable cashier who was very friendly. Now they have an extremely rude clerk who seems to hate her life and takes it out on every customer that enters the store. I was chastised for swiping my card before pressing the debit or credit button. Then she slapped a flimsy sign above the machine several times while telling me "look at the huge sign right in front of your face!" She then begrudgingly gave me my military discount which didnt actually discount me anything; and when I questioned it she proceeded to point at random sections of the receipt. The bottle cost 19.00 and with my discount it cost me 19 + some change; what a discount! Winn dixie spirits has a similar selection and way better deals plus gas perks. When the cordial clerk was at star liquors I could bear the prices; but thus isnt the first time shes been rude to me and neither me or my wife will ever return to star liquor. Just cross the street. Its cheaper and more friendly with the same hours. The same bottle was 17.00 at winn dixie. Their card scanner is cheap and we shouldnt be punished or abused for that.

Star Liquor has one of the best selections and variety I have seen anywhere. The staff is great and my all time favorite is Matt, he has given me and my friends more recommendations for different mixers and new stuff to try almost everytime we go there. If it wasnt for him I wouldnt have tried half the alcohol I have, and loved it. So if you want good staff and a even better selection, go here. You wont regret it.

This has to be one of the best stores Ive yet been too. I went on a weekend and man I must say I was impressed with their selection. They had rums that I havent had in over a 10 years from the islands. The staff is awesome, energetic , party atmosphere great music and free taste shots !!! wow a bartender who gives me free shots ...Amazinggggggg Keep it up Star.... See you on myspace!! This is one of those great finds...the guy there (sorry not knowing his name) has a passion for great beers and will help guide you through their craft beer selection. I love pale ales and his suggestions are spot on! They even have Dogfish Head 120!!! This is the place to go for beer, liquor, and smokes including cloves which my wife and I enjoy occasionally. Everyone should support a place like this.

Since years, I buy my requirement from this store and find the staff very friendly, appreciative and their wide range of products are at very reasonable prices, most of the times actually cheaper and competitive than nearby stores. ( I dont want to name some of biggies who are very expensive and cold service )

The staff here is very friendly. I called a few places looking for berry ciroc and people acted like I was bugging them, but not star liquor. The lady was very friendly and they had stock of my drink where other stores didnt. Been here a few times but they will now be my all the time store!!!!

Great stock, and great staff. Each time I go in there I leave a smarter man (beer wise). I prefer to go here than Publix or anywhere else not only because of the great selection or prices, but because of the awesome staff there. Wish they had a loyalty program though.

Friendly staff and easy in, easy out. Great prices and great selection. Specialty wines and liquors you wont find at a grocery store. If for some reason they dont have it, just ask, I bet they will next time you come in, or die trying. My new favorite!!
