Prices are okay for some items and through the roof for others. If you cant find a specific item, to see if they carry it or have it in stock, its almost IMPOSSIBLE to find an employee to assist you; and if you do happen to see an employee to ask, they are usually very rude and act inconvenienced to assist you. Floors are absolutely disgusting!! So dingy, sticky, and trashed! It looks like they dont clean them at all. Bathrooms are dingy, dirty and outdated. Store is overcrowded with promotional items at every turn, makes it hard to navigate through the store. Kids carts are old, broken and dingy. They are usually littered with trash and need major cleaning before using. Cash register lines are terrible!! They are so long and the cashiers are so slow, even in the self checkout area. Cashiers are either teenagers or older disgruntled cashiers, on several occasions Ive heard them talk openly about applying to work for publix or another grocery store rather than Winn Dixie, leads me to believe there are issues. Employees stand or sit on the side (right next to the water machine and the entrance) and smoke cigarettes in their uniforms. So when you enter or leave the store your lungs are inveltrated with unwanted cigarette smoke. It also makes me not want to use the water machines, as it has been caked in their cigarette smoke. It is especially gross to see the deli and bakery employees out there smoking before going to prepare food, even if they wash their hands, the imagery of them smoking drives me not to purchase products they have made, I can only imaging the smoke is saturated in their uniforms... Used to love this store for the convenience factor, but now with a Publix down crosstown and a Walmart and Aldis at SLW & Cashmere I barely shop here with the better alternatives close by. I will say they finally repaved the parking lot, so that has improved the place, because before when it rained, even a small shower, the water would pool in the middle of lot and make huge puddles to wade through to get to your car. However entering and leaving the lot is a traffic nightmare, too many people walking and cars, combined with improper stop signs at once exit and busy streets it makes it a ten minute process just to leave.

It was a busy afternoon yesterday, and I only had three items so I decided to use self check out. There was one woman working on a machine across from me, a woman standing by the computer, and a guy next to her who seemed to be a manager, talking and talking about how another store is very slow. Meanwhile I pressed the button for credit or debit so that the card reader tells me to swipe. I swiped my card and waited there for literally 5 minutes while they walked in circles and talked some more, and I finally looked over and said this says please wait for cashier... and instead of them explaining to me that I need to press the credit or debit button on the other screen AGAIN, the guy pressed it for me and I said nicely said oh okay I already pressed that and the woman who wasnt even in my sight said with an attitude "It doesnt matter" and "you are the cashier" at that point I thought to myself, great customer service you have here you watched me stare at this screen blankly and didnt help me so as I walked away I said thanks for the help so maybe they will get the point. How was I supposed to know there wasnt a prompt on YOUR screen to confirm MY CARD SWIPE THAT I ALREADY DID. You know how these screens work, I dont. I didnt think to press a button that I ALREADY PRESSED. It wouldnt be a big deal if I was actually helped instead of me standing there while they talked away.

The pharmacy staff is the best. Gary, the manager and Judy the assistant manager, are two of the most professional, friendly, and proficient pharmacists I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is superb. Their staff work together,Varela friendly, know you by name, and eventually know you by your medications. I travel 8 extra miles just to get their customer service. Peggy, the store manager is so customer friendly, she bags groceries. She knows you by name. Very helpful with what ever you may need.

Manager, Mike Bieschae helped me out so much last week. After I shopped there, I got to my car and it wouldnt start. I went in to the desk and he passed by and asked if everything was good and I told him I would like to find someone with jumper cables. He used his own truck and cables to get me off and going. Thank you so much for your courtesy, Mike!!

Tried to shop here and the dang employees are so rude! They would not stop the personal conversation that they were having in the middle of the isle, to move out of the way so I could continue my shopping. Why should I have to walk around employees who are just talking?

I havent visited here in a while but man, it really has changed for the better, the store overall is cleaner, looks better and dare I say has a more upscale "publix" feel. I enjoyed shopping here and with the prices and discounts it really is a great place to shop.

Very positive. They were just putting the fresh corn out and I was able to pick out twelve beautiful ears. I also purchased three packages of the steaks, as well as the bacon and the Butterball ground turkey breast that were on sale.

Winn-Dixie has a great florist department and nice staff. I also like the self checkout and Android friendly checkout system. With that said, I feel Winn-Dixie is the Walmart version of Publix.

Prices higher than Walmart lower than Publix. Employees are very friendly and know the store. Deli is fresh, great heros, fried chicken like home made. The meat is fresh so is the seafood.

Much better prices than Publix. Well stocked. Tasty meat and less water added like some places. Rated low by some idiot. Actually higher quality meats and much better prices than publix.

Winn Dixie has some good BOGO and a few other good prices week to week and the people are nice but Winn Dixie Corp really should update, renovate the store - its a bit "run down"

Visit on a once a month basis, its out of the way for me. But a fairly clean store for how long its been there, go early, it gets very busy later in the day.
