I hate giving bad reviews but here goes. Purchased a concealed weapon class on Groupon from plant city. From moment i entered was met with a pretty bad attitude by the gentleman who im guessing was the owner. The gentleman giving the cladd who is his employee was super cool and nice guy. (Hes only reason i didnt give the establishment a 1). i noticed some pretty good prices, but after noticing how much of an attitude he was giving me and several of the other cladd takers i was pretty much sure i was not buying anything (even though i had thought about purchasing a 12g he had). He really sounded rude and bothered by our presence. Ironically i did notice to the ladies he was pretty nice and very friendly to those leaving from the range. Im guessing he probably looked at us as taking up space since we were there for the class. Still in retail you never know, i would have probably purchased the 12g from him and possibly been back for an AK that he had. But hearing him talk down to couple guys from the class, even mumbling under his breath at a question posed by one of the younger participants. Im sorry to ramble but really i dont think ive ever felt more uneasy and unwelcomed in a store. My suggestion if money is the bottom line he seems to be well priced. But if you are like me and look at building a relationship with certain stores where if feel comfortable will return business then this is prob not the place i would go back to. Also to add to it they do not clean or sanitize the ear or eye protection after use. Not cool

Ive been to this range a few times and had some issues each time. Not all was bad they did have ammo I was after and the prices arent horrible either but the service has alot more to be desired. I shot there a few months ago and forgot to bring my range bag with me and they offered the in store ears and glasses and I used them. After I was done shooting the guy working took them from us and hung them back up from the same hanger he gave them from giving me great confidence that i just used nasty used ears and glasses.THIS IS NOT A SAFE PRACTICE. At shoot straight and shooters world Ive always scene them wiping down and cleaning the used ones before handing them back out. Secondly the guy im assuming is the owner ( an older gentleman) has always been pleasant but the so called gun smith (the fat guy) talks down very condescendingly every time im forced to interact with him and has no reason to be around the front counter. Hes a good reason id much rather drive over to thonotsassa indoor shooting range "the range" or even to shooters world over off Fletcher in Tampa. I most likely wont be returning to this location.

yesterday a buddy of mine called this store looking for a glock. the person on the phone helped him and said i have the one you are looking for. my buddy told me this store has a bunch of guns. i called today to see if they had the one i was looking for. i was nice and asked if they had any of the 3 guns i was looking for the man on the phone was nasty to me. he began to talk down to me and said i dont think they even make what you are looking for. i said they do because ive seen it in other places. he began to yell at me that he couldnt sell me what he didnt have. once again my question was "do you have any of these guns in stock?" i wasnt demanding he sell it to me. he then told me he does have them and then i asked what is the price. he said he does not give prices on the phone and i would have to drive to him to see it and hung up. so this guy was a total jack*$$ to me and expects me to spend my hard earned money to keep his crappy store in the middle of nowhere in business? i will never go or buy do anything associated with this place.

Ive bought 2 pistols here since I moved here last month. I recieved pretty good deals honestly. Much better than what most stores will do. I know what guns cost and where to get them. The bottom line is you cant beat online prices. They will work with you on the price if you know of a better deal. Fact of the matter is most stores only want that mark up, if you dont want to 750 for 600 dollar piece, bye. Plant City Gun is not that outfit. Your gonna pay a little more not deal with online payments and shipping, Ill take it. Usually when you buy firearms online it take them damn near two 9-12 days to ship. I know, I have bought many firearms from online. The only downside of this place is that the range is a bit small but just fine for pistols. Me personally, I dont shoot rifles indoor anyway, its just not fun for me. All in all though I like this place and would recommend to anyone.

Im in Florida for work form Ohio and ended up with a day of so I figured I go shooting. Shop is small and will get quite cramped with just a few people in it, that rental selection is great for a first time shooter with mostly glocks, conceld carries and wheel guns. I was surprised to find some decint long guns for rent, much better then I have at home. As for the range its self it is in need of more light and a bit of a make over but it is very functional. Other then the lighting on the range I might complain about the ammo they sold us just because it was not the cheepest but then again it was not the most expensive stuff they had and I under stand they have to make money some how. On the positive side they happened to have a eaa witness in 10mm that I have bin looking for in there used gun case ie there rental case that I tryed out and now Im in love with it.

Plant City Gun Range is a very good range. The air quality is among the best in the county. The noise level is very good. At least half the ranges in the county have unacceptably loud ranges. Plant City Gun Range is easy on the ears. The owner and staff are very accomedating of shooters and as long as there is no waiting line, they do not mind if you keep shooting. Someday that may change, but it has been that way for as long as I remember, and I dont think it will change in the future... it just makes good business sense. Other ranges should be as kind. The only thing I wish was better is the lighting. While it has improved recently, it is still darker than other ranges in the area... but not too dark to hinder the enjoyment of the range. I shoot here even though I have a membership at another range in the area.

The guy at the counter wich am guessing was the owner or the manager was by far the rudest person Ive ever dealt with in any store. Went there to get a G27 at blue label pricing. When I got there i realized i had left my concealed permit. I told the guy at the counter I would come right back and even showed him my badge and Id since at the time i worked as a Deputy/Sheriff. When i came back to get the gun about 30 mins later he advised he had sold it. When i asked him why he said he didnt believe me when i said i was coming back. He further stated it is my store and ill do what the hell i wanna do so leave. We got into a small argument and the guy ended up calling me a beaner and was blowing kisses at me. I would never do business there or recommend anyone to that BS store. Guy is a racist and a punk.
