I ordered a flower spread on a stand for a funeral. This was a patriotic spread since he served as a U.S. Marine. I was called at 10:15am (viewing was at 10am and funeral was at 11am) and told they had just received my order and could not do what I asked for. For the record I did order these flowers the night before but this is why I choose a local florist. It said that the flowers would be there on time. I paid over $150.00 for this arrangement. When he called me I was upset and said I guess I would have to try and do something else for her and he stopped me and said he could send a beautiful basket with SEVERAL different plants in it that could be planted later on down the line. I asked several times if he thought it would be big enough and patriotic enough. He assured me it would be. I asked if they could also include some flags and he said yes but that would make the $100.00 basket now a little over $120.00. I have NEVER been so disappointed in my entire life. What arrived was a small green plant that I could have bought from Home Depot for $40.00. It had 3 small hydrangeas (blue) in it but other than that it was green with ONE small flag ($20.00 for this tiny flag the size of my hand). I was so disappointed.. I called back and he said he never told me he would put anything in it that was red, white or blue. I would have been happy with carnations! Anything!! Not only did this company disappoint me but what a disgusting improper thing to do for someone that served our country. I will put this review on EVERY review site I can find. DO NOT shop at Creative Flower Designs because the only creative thing they do is deceive their customers and rob them blind.

I have used Creative Flower Designs many times. The first significant event was the wedding of my daughter, then eventually the funeral of my mother and most recently, the funeral of my step-dad. I have also called on them for smaller instances such as Mothers Day, holidays, birthdays etc. They have always exceeded my expectations. This last time we spoke with Glenn we described what we wanted and he asked good questions to get a better understanding. He also offered excellent suggestions and alternatives. The final result was perfect. I am so thankful to have a local florist I can depend on. The entire staff is thoughtful, considerate and knowledgeable.

Do not use them. You are not getting what you pay for. You see a beautiful display of flowers you pay for. Then they arrive and they look nothing like what you ordered. They looked like something that came straight out of the Walmart flower section. Then you call and the customer service representative is rude and would not fix the problem. These flowers were bought for someones funeral. The people makeing these flower arrangements have no clue how personal these are to people. Not to mention you pay for service that does not live up to its standards and customer service was rude.

Glenn and his staff are the best! Never batted an eye at our huge order and odd colors, which another local florist snubbed. The flowers were the decorations, especially for the reception, so obviously very important. Glenn steered the bride and us through which flowers would last and look the best without bankrupting us. Showed up on time with the perfect arrangements. Very impressed and highly recommend.

Just as a reference; rather important one--the shop closes at 2 on Wednesdays according to the answering service. Disappointing, I must find one that is open as ad says they are open until 5:00 p.m.
