A loud Italian

A very wide choice of books - when i come here i always check the hystory, cooking, languages shelves. Quite pleasing choice, prices are higher than online of cause, but i just love to walk fru the shelves, look fru the pages. Also the shop has a good choice of notebooks/copybook. However i could never see the pens over here like while reading no a person wud need a pen to write down an idea or while studying. So i really dont like it, cause i need to go to another place to purchase the pens. There re book for a penny, sometimes there are quite good ones.

This is by far one of the coolest, more organized B&N with the friendliest staff. I visit this location at least once a month and usually there is this one funny and talented young man who gives the closing announcement like NO OTHER PERSON or place Ive ever been to. So, last night I visited the store but I didnt hear him say the announcements... Needless to say I didnt even pay attention to them. Dear Manager in charge if that funny guy is around closing time please let him do the announcements and lets us all enjoy the rest of the night with it!!!

This is a nice store, is open and spacious, good lighting, and clean. However, book selection is average, music is a bit too loud, specially at the Starbucks sitting/reading area, where they also placed a TV advertising their products that is pretty loud and annoying after a while. In addition, the place gets crowded and there are only 2 working outlets throughout the whole store. Also, they dont let you sit on the floor to check out the books you are reviewing.

I was somewhat surprised by some of the negative reviews of this location - namely that the staff is rude and unhelpful. This B&N is closest to my home and I come here often. Ive never had any problems with the staff. This location is clean, well stocked, and provides a nice atmosphere to shop, browse, or just relax. Plus, it is located in the Pembroke Gardens mall - which is just fantastic!

This Barnes and noble has the worse staff I have ever seen at any store. Rude, do not care about customers,who pays their salaries.cafe staff should be fired.there are thousands of great people looking for jobs with great attitudes. When we, consumers, pay 4dollars for a cup of coffee that costs 10c, we should be treated like gold. Hope amazon puts Barnes and Noble out of business.

Was there last night and was a little uncomfortable with the announcement in Spanish. As a Spanish speaking I found it to be insulting as if we dont understand English... We dont need translation to Exit , Enter , Welcome and bathroom. Please stop with the translation and the ennouncement in Spanish, we are capable to understand basic English.

A Private User

The cafe has put an endless NOOK television in the middle of the seating area. How am I supposed to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. It was bad enough with the loud music, but the Nook TV is the last straw. to B&N: I will never buy a nook regardless of how many times you play the commercial in your cafe, but I will choose another cafe.

Ive always loved books and reading, and even though I enjoy ebooks, Ill always prefer paper books, so naturally I love bookstores as well. This Barnes and noble has special memories for me, such as waiting until midnight for the final Harry Potter books. Great selection here, plus I love the toy and puzzle section!

The employee at the information desk was very rude and wasnt any help at all. I had to look for the book myself. She didnt seem like she wanted to move away from her area to help anyone. She treated the customer ahead of me the same way. We were both in the same aisle looking for books.

Thank you so much for existing. One of the best location ever. I called and looked for a specific magazine and they put it on hold for me at the register for hours so I can pick it up. Beautiful location and you can sit down and eat and shop in the great stores around.

Not overly packed considering it has a Starbucks attached. They also are now carrying a larger selection of tabletop games for less than most competitors, dice sets and MTG packs.
