I understand that womens achievement throughout history has been squashed due to an overbearing male populace trying to protect women from harms way, but that is no reason to try to, "silencing the male voice". With our current president millennial men need good male mentors more than ever even if it comes from the past or in book form. Millennial men are not being educated or employed as much as women...yet there is a persistent voice by the media (not by actual feminist writers) that we must squash and destroy everything male. This is not feminism and is cruel marketing. Feminist writers understand the balance that is needed and they want true equality amongst the sexes. We cannot change the past, yet we can change the future, and squashing the male voice is not the answer. Turning around all the books that were written by men undermine and minimize male achievement that we still desperately need in a world that in some countries have reached a better sense of true equality.

Ive visited a lot used bookstores across the Northeast over many years and this one stands out as among the largest and the best organized anywhere. You wont find many where your chances of finding what youre looking for are as good as here. On my visit I had a hard time telling myself I simply had to stop shopping and check out. The suggestion in other reviews that prices are way high didnt seem accurate to me. If youre looking for $1.50 reading copies of a formerly popular novel, you should go to a different kind of store. Loganberry Books has quality editions in good condition and for those books and sets the prices are consistent with other stores and on-line.

"We are turning around the male authored books as a metaphor for silencing the male voice" This book store goes out of their way to turn around and hide the books written by men for a entire month because of their beliefs in a metaphor, not to bring up the strong sexist remarks I got when I actually tried to get a book by HP Lovecraft but the problem stood that I simply wasnt given the numbers needed to find it myself and the staff REFUSED to even try and look, you are a book store. Why do you openly sit there and deny me the ability to read a book simply because it was written by a man?

AMAZING Place, so many books and collections of every type and interest. I felt like I never wanted to leave and there is even a Kitty in Residence, Otis let me pet him and play, Homey and comfortable places to sit, lots to look at and a warren of rooms to explore. Wish I could have transported that store to my home in San Diego! Yes the prices are high, but if you are a collector looking for that ONE book that you HAVE to have, this is your place, I bought several of their clearance books for a buck, so I went away very happy.

Dazzling store. We did not find the prices out of line at all. I would far rather buy from a respected, knowledgeable seller than take my chances online. Theres something for everyone here -- collectible books, books just to read, old books, brand new books, book related items, an on-site bindery and a gorgeous display of altered books. We left poorer (by three figures) but happy and satiated. The only bad part was that Otis the cat wasnt there that day. Two thumbs up for Loganberry!

This is an...amazing place. Its small exterior is a facade, because inside is a VAST cavernous museum/shrine to books. This place is full of classics, rare volumes and amazing volumes that I was awestruck. The people there are kind, helpful, courteous and thoughtful. The cat was nice too:) I am going to make this place a regular stop on my weekly sojourns out; a good bookstore is a treasure, and a GREAT one, is invaluable. Loganberry Books is such a place:)

This might be the best book shop in ALL of Cleveland. They have one of the coolest collections Ive ever seen, friendly helpful staff members, rebinding services (who knew?), and a cat if youre into that sort of thing. They also host an open mic night the second THursday every month that is the only reason I ever got started writing and performing my poetry more. They rock. Ask for Carmen specifically, as they are bomb!

This place is positively magical. It feels like a book store out of a movie, with books packed into every possible nook and cranny and lots of staff that are more than happy to help. Has used books, new books, lots of creative displays to give you ideas, local Cleveland published books, and a rare books section. Wonderful place to explore and in a very walk-able neighborhood with lots of cool spots to check out.

HUGE selection of books, you could truly spend hours in the store browsing. Staff is very friendly. However, most of the prices are EXTREMELY high. You can easily find most of their books online for 75% less. My recommendation is to browse around, write down a few books they have that interest you, and then find them online. Youll save a ton of $$$$.

This place is fantastic for any avid reader. If i lived closer id take advantage of the hang out areas to read. Theres a huge selection of old and new books. The place is huge and is decorated like a vintage library, very beautiful. The staff was friendly and theres even a friendly ittle cat who roams the store. Ill definitely be back.

One of my very favorite bookstores. You walk in, and after a few steps you see a sign made of cut-pages over the doorway to a back room where rare collections and fragile books live. The sign says "SANCTUARY", which is exactly how it feels to hang out there. Great place to bring friends and look for new friends, paper ones or not.

In honor of womens month instead of promoting women, Loganberry Books decided to silence men. They did this by flipping all of the male authors books around so only female authors titles were visible. Nothing says celebrate women more than silencing men. This is pathetic and they should be ashamed.

Excellent history, archaeology and philosophy section. Often stumble upon a few previously unknown gems. Often get gifts here for fellow bibliophiles. A true sanctuary of books: friendly owner and free WiFi, and a cat too! For an independent bookstore, what more can one ask for?

Antique books galore!!!! Fabulous book store! New or old they have it! If you enjoy reading definitely go there! They have sitting areas for reading as well. There is also a book binder located in the back that does book repairs and restorations!

Its huge and cozy at the same time. The staff is incredible, and the selection is unparalleled. The last two times Ive moved, my proximity to Loganberry Books has been a major deciding factor in where I choose to live.

So cool inside. Vast collection of books and really comparative pricing. I was actively comparing prices in the store to Amazon and It beat the Amazon prices over half the time (often by a few dollars). Great place.

One of the top two or three bookstores in Cleveland. Huge selection, knowledgeable staff, great support for local authors, and they have cats that roam the aisles offering purrs, snuggles and reading suggestions.

What a wonderful place for my wife and my first trip to Cleveland. Im glad I got to meet and play with Otis the resident book cat. If you love books and dont have a cat allergy this is the place for you.
