If I could give this place negative stars, I would. In January my boyfriend and I decided to go in and find a ring. We found one & I loved it but I wanted it custom made. The two ladies that helped me said they could do it and they could do exactly what i wanted. They would send out what i wanted and get a mold made for me. It was only supposed to be a 9 week process. My boyfriend put a down payment on the ring and we waited for our mold. A month later we were told we had a payment so we came in and made it. I asked about the mold and they said it was still being worked on. 4 months later and the two who originally started helping me were no longer working there. The mold that was supposed to only take 3 weeks (but actually took 4 months) was NOT any kind of resemblance to the ring I wanted and when it accidentally broke the workers were mad at me. A worker told me how Kays would not be able to do the ring I wanted. I told them i wanted my money back and I didnt want to work with them anymore but when I asked for a refund she told me that I would have to wait because she would have to call the main office. When everything was said and done I found out the payments we made were paying on a credit card that someone had signed me up for without my knowledge. They stole my money and ruined my credit. Since this happened to me Ive heard MANY stories of very similar things happening to other people. I will never return back to Kays.

My fiancee purchased a wedding ring on 5/9 and went into the store on 7/9 to discuss the option of returning the ring that day with the Kay staff. The individual working at the store assured her that she was within the 60 day window to return the ring and would not have a problem returning the ring that day. As a result of this mis-information that was provided by the Kay employee, my fiancee went and purchased a ring at another store that day. When she went back to Kay to return the original ring, she was told that they made a mistake and that 7/9 was actually the 61st day and she would not be able to return the ring. It was an honest mistake but because of the mis-information, we are now stuck with two rings and Kay is completely unwilling to accept the return of the original ring despite the circumstances. I gave the store manager numerous opportunities to honor his employees statement that we would be able to return the ring and he either lacks the authority to do so or was simply unwilling to do the right thing. Because of the mis-information provided, we are now stuck with two rings and are out about $850. Will NEVER shop at Kay again!!!

If there was just a poor only option for service i would have chose that. I had purchased a few items for christmas. The person i bought them for told me a couple weeks later they didnt like 2 of the items so naturally i went to return them. The blonde lady working that day tried and succeeded in convinceing me that i should wait to return them cause i might find something better later to exchange them for, but she also said if i didnt find anything that i could return them by Feb 21, 2013, Well apparently this is an extremely STUPID lady that should not be employed by anyone. I went in today on the 20th and the people working said i was one day to late to do any sort of return. So this dumb blonde just cost me over 200 dollars. PLEASE FIRE THIS IDIOT ASAP

One of the blonde ladies is extremely rude while the other is very sweet. I dont recommend coming in if shes there. Not sure how such a rude lady can have a job in customer service!!!!

I gave them 1 star because thats the only way to leave a review. They ruined my wifes family heirloom ring. People, I would advise against using them for anything.
