Home Depot isnt what it used to be. When they opened, they had a friendly, knowledgeable staff and were eager to help you find what you need. Now, you can stand next to an employee that is reluctantly helping a customer, patiently waiting your turn, and when they are done with the other person, they will turn and walk away without even making eye contact. The floor and carpet we had installed by them had to be ripped up, done again, and then ripped up again and taken away so we could get a quality installation from another company. The floor fiasco took over a month, and even longer to get our credit returned. It was initially supposed to take 2 days, but that turned into 4 for the first install with the workers arriving hours late each day and quitting early. The baseboard molding looked like it had been run over and they left it with dozens of unfilled nail holes. They were paid extra by the room to move the furniture but the first words out of the foremans mouth was "we dont touch canopy beds because we broke one" so I had to do it. I am a chef, and thats like me making a customer cook his own steak because I burned one once. They never leveled the floor (if they had a level in their truck, thats where it stayed) so it had to be done over two more times, the last by another company who did the job right. Home Depot also voided the warranty on the floor because of their total lack of knowledge about the products they sell and install. I will go there reluctantly if I need something, but its usually worth the 20 minute drive to ACE on collier than to go 2 miles to the Home Depot.

Call the Inn at 2:45 to find out if theyre ClosetMaid wire shelving came within end caps. After going through the phone tree and waiting for the Department pickup was transferred to the operator waited for 12 minutes then was told by the operator that she would transfer me back to that department. After then being transferred back to the Department without me asking to be I waded through the appropriate rings and was rhe transferred to the operator again second operator was just as rude as the Spanish lady before and transferred me without trying to help solve the problem himself even though I asked him to. Was then rolled back after no pickup for a third time. Proceeded to wait for the operator for another 22 minutes then gave up.They may have great service in store but their phone service is or ridiculously horrific.

My experience with Blinds Department was awful. I ordered the blinds two month ago and today they called me and said that they can not to find them. They offered to cancel my order. I am very disappointed as I lost almost two month and they kept my $2,000 payment which they made me to pay upfront. They will refund them to me but it is not right as I did not want to deposit my own money in their company. I would rather put them on saving account )))). By the end of they day heres what I got: 1. two month wasted 2. $2,000 kept 3. I have to go to the different company and wait 3-4 more weeks and to live without blinds in uncomfortable conditions. Thank you Home Depot!

Waited nearly 20 minutes in the check-out line. With only one check-out open, I saw customers set their item/s down and walk out of the store. Also, lawn clean-up bags used to be with all of the lawn equipment, (where they belong), and when I asked the customer service personnel at the self check-out after looking around the store for several mimutes, she had to look it up, then informed me that they are now kept outside in aisle 54, where they will obviously draw damp in the Florida humidity, and not be as strong as they once were.

Terrible service. Employees walk around and dont ask you if you need any help. Its almost like they try to avoid eye contact with you. I stood for 15 minutes looking for help with wood fencing. I asked two employees to find somebody to help me and they just continue to walk on sang the fence guys around here somewhere. In the meantime I stopped to help a gentleman who was having trouble loading his cart with plywood. I proceeded to help him load 8 sheets of plywood. Again service is terrible there

Went to the paint department to see what they could do to adjust the color of paint I just bought. The clerk was rude and made no attempt to help. I stopped at customer service to voice my displeasure. Claudia made some suggestions and went to the paint department and fixed my problem. Claudia was respectful kind and a very sweet lady. The store mgr should let her know shes appreciated. Then give her a raise.

I love Home Depot. This one in East Naples is close to my house and I am there a lot. They have so much that I need to upkeep my house and garden. Advice: Go on a Saturday for the best service. I thought it would be better to avoid their busy day but it turns out they have much more staff on Saturdays so its easier to get help that day.

Horrible service. I wanted to get a sheet of plywood cut, and the best they wanted to do was cut it in half. They refused to do any cuts because they said the cutters can cut their fingers, as they are not very accurate according to three of the losers that work there. They told me to buy an electric circular saw.

I was looking at buying a specific tile but not in Naples at the time and the employee Dustin got me to the store manager Leonard Gabourel and he emailed me pictures of the tile and is now helping me find something to my liking. You talk about customer service!

I needed 10 gallons of a product no other Home Depot had. This particular store was an hour from my house, but did have the product in stock. They went out of their way to ship the product directly to my house. This saved me time and money. Thanks!
