Hearing so many good things about Home Depot I decided to use them to remodel my mothers home. However, it was one disaster after another. After purchasing over $2000.00 worth of product they had an attitude... all I wanted was my order to be put on pick up the next morning. Later that week I went to buy my kitchen cabinets. I was told when I ordered them that when I picked them up they were 20% off but they needed a few hours to pull the order. When they called to tell me the order was ready...using a friends borrowed truck and trailer... I was informed the 20% discount did not start till the following day this was at 8:00 PM. I asked for a manager but one never came to speak with me... the person that was waiting on me told me they would not honor the 20% that evening unless I put it on my credit card and then they would refund the following morning and re-charge my account so that i would be assured my discount. What ever happened to customer service... I refused to do this so I had to get someone else to pick them up costing me what ever the discount was going to be... did I save... I think not! After getting the cabinets the order was messed up so now I had to have the contractor go to exchange a couple of the cabinets. He was there over 3 hours trying to make them understand their mistake. Unless you have a lot of extra time ... and I mean a lot.... I would think twice about using Home Depot I would have been better off ordering through my contractor. Home Depot was rude... not very helpfull... and did not offer anything to justify me ever using their services again. Time is money... I spent over $5,000.00 dollars there... never again!

I am a loyal Home Depot customer but the Home Depot in Ft Myers Forum is a NO-GO. I try to avoid it but sometimes it is closest and I just want to run in. Every time it is an epic fail. Todays experience was to grab a couple of Belkin wifi electric plugs. The ssociate I was speaking to had NO IDEA what I was talking about. (So much for product knowledge of the associates) so I asked for someone else when then stood staring at a shelf while muttering "Dont look like we got none." Seriously? Grammar aside, I asked him if he could please look up the sku, but I found it faster on my phone and gave it to him. Then some mumbling about his opinions about the Home Depot website versus the store, etc, etc. So I did like most people do when they visit this particular Home Depot. I went to Lowes. I doubt this gets read by anyone at this store but if it does and IF there is a decent manager in this place, it should be the topic of the next staff meeting. This store needs some SERIOUS training!!!

We were in here at 4:30 and there wasnt One shopping cart available! They were all out in the parking lot. There were 4 employees not doing ANYTHING standing at the service desk. When I asked the lady at the service counter where all the carts she said and I quote "we must have a full house theyre all in the store ". When I asked to speak with a manager their response was we dont have one. Thats okay, Lowes is down the road and to the left We spent $850 at lowes buying new light fixtures. After we were walking out we noticed all the carts in the parking lot there had to be at least 75 of them. You really hit a homerun on this one Home Depot!

Beware of the insurance they tack on in the tool rental department! I was told I had agreed but it was never mentioned to me. I was asked to press the accept icon on there kiosk screen and was explained that I was agreeing that I knew how to operate the equipment I was renting. When you sign that acknowledgement your signature is also used as an agreement to the insurance. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BOX THAT YOU WOULD INITIAL IF YOU DID NOT WANT THE OPTIONAL COVERAGE? BAD PRACTICE HOME DEPOT!

Dont have to return something and then buy something else. They wont give you a credit. They will put it back on the credit card that takes 5 days or more to be back on your card and then they will charge you all over again for the new item. Using your money. They said I was the only person in the whole United States that has ever complained about that. The manager was rude. We wont be using Home Depot any longer that is for sure!

Shifty customer service waited 30 minutes in an aisle for assistance. When some one finally came, asked to stay here I will find somebody to help again nobody, when somebody finally did arrive they just sat and had a conversation with a fellow Co worker and when they were done with their chit chat they both parted ways and never asked anybody if they needed assistance. In my opinion worst place to go for anything

Hit or miss. Ive excellent and terrible customer service here. As a big box chain, the selection is sometimes generic and limiting. If you have the time, it may be worth shopping a local or specialized supplier for your particular need. Definitely dont buy plants here because they will nor be adapted to our environment like ones from local nurseries.

I am very surprised by the negative review! I just bought a home in N. Ft. Myers and have made many trips to HD, spending hundreds of dollars. I have found the staff very easy to work with and accommodating. Many returns due to my not getting it right the first time were handled without a "hitch". Keep it up Forum Home Depot!!!

There are kids activities the first Saturday of every month in the summer. When they are finished putting together their project they get a pin, a snack and juice box. Each project is different, there is no registration fee and no appointment. My daughter looks forward to going and collecting all of the different pins.

This is a great store for the electrical contractor. The electric department is well stocked and HD employee, Ken is a former electrical contractor himself. He knows his inventory. Ken really has an experienced opinion for almost every electrical question. Recommend highly!

Horrible customer service. I waited an hour for someone to find me a guy for the grill section, then wait for him to find a new in box grill, then wait for him to secure an Isle. The whole process was ridiculous. No sense of urgency and Im a pretty patient guy

Do not wast your time trying to call to find out anything. You will never get the people in the department to answer thier darn phone so you can find out if they have what you need so you dont wast the trip. Very shity customer service when you call sad.

Couldnt find any store associates to help me in gardening. Found an associate in an orange shirt named Tony. He was very friendly and helped me find my product. He assisted me in lifting it into my cart which I couldnt do on my own. Quality associate
