I am a huge fan of bacon maple donuts and when I had read that this place had the best one in Miami, I had to come and see for myself. The location is a bit hidden as it is in a sort of mutli-media building and the line literally will wrap around the corner in a matter of minutes (I just got in before all the school kids got there). It is counter service and the line moves fairly quickly. They have a pretty extensive menu with a lot of variation and some interesting flavor pairings that sound odd, but work. They do sell out of donuts and I got one of the last of the Maple Bacon. They are a bit pricey, but for the size and quality of ingredients, you are getting your money’s worth. I also got their Matcha Mint Lemonade, which I was leery of at first, but it was magnificent! My donut was a work of art and a revelation! The maple glaze was absolute perfection, with that matted iced finish that cracks when you bite into it to release the pure ecstasy of syrupy richness only maple can. It is countered exquisitely by the perfectly crisp, almost candied savory and saltiness of the bacon. The brioche dough is also perfection with just enough fluff and heft to add the precision of texture to have some mouthweight, but also softens the glaze and the bacon. It is all tied together flawlessly by the drizzle of J Wakefield UJP Porter reduction, which adds just enough malty, almost chocolatey hints of coffee flavor without overcompensating to complete this simple, but innovative flavor ensemble that is an absolute treat for anyone with a functioning tastebud! This was the only donut I sampled here and honestly, I feel like it has ruined me for every other donut in my future. It was also so filling that I was only able to eat just over half. If you are a local and have not been here, what the heck are you waiting for? If you are just visiting, make a beeline here from any regional SoFlo airport. You’re welcome.

We ordered 6 donuts with 4 different flavours. All tasted amazingly. The Mango Croughnut was great. The Mapple+Bacon tasted strange but in a superb way. The Nutella with hazel nuts was sweet, but loved by the kids. The White Chocolate Three Leches can be highly recommended. Just be sure to drink a lot of water (its actually free). Perfectly brewed filter coffee (not normal in the us). 14 chairs inside makes it a small space. Outside its a bit more. We were there around 12 with no queue, but there was times where the queue went out the door. Probably a nice concept to commercialise all over the us and the world if they can manage to keep the quality and service.

Some of the best donuts youll have, hands down. You taste the love and quality put into every donut. Even their most original donut, the traditional glazed, will have you wondering where the Salty Donut has been all your life. Amazing artisan donuts, unique flavors and offerings, and some of the most amazing collabs like a sticky bun stuffed donut. Cant forget to wash down with some of their unique coffee offerings as well. Now that theyre located at a new indoor location, the long waits and buying experience is much better. With extended hours and days of operation, you have no excuse to not come here! Dont miss out.

The Salty Donut takes donuts to another level and they have amazing iced coffee which is pretty necessary after waiting in line for about a half hour in the Miami sun (worth it). My daughters favorite donut is the Chocolate Cake donut which is supposedly under 120 calories and gluten-free. Many of their other donuts are made with a 24 hour brioche dough. The care and attention to detail on each donut is revelatory and the environment is great as well with nice, shady picnic benches to eat at and good music that is not too loud. Finally, friendly, smiling staff at the end of line fills out the 5 star review.

I think this place may be a bit overhyped just because everything in Wynwood is "cool" and "hip". It was super crowded with the line out the door. The service was fast, but not particularly friendly. The actual donut portion had a nice flavor but the three inches of frosting or popcorn on top was weird. Does anybody actually want a mouthful of frosting? The less extravagant donuts were better, such as the glazed and Très Leche. Still a bit pricey though, at $20 for four donuts and a coffee, which doesnt include whatever you have to buy afterwards to rinse the taste of frosting out of your mouth.

Salty Donut is Miami first gourmet Donut shop. Run by a fantastic guy who puts his best foot forward always. With a menu that changes weekly(not always) you keep coming back every week to try the donuts! There will always be a line but I can say its worth the wait. This isnt your fast food donuts, these donuts are made with love and time! While this is only there pop up shop, its basically a full fledged outdoor restaurant. They plan on moving right to the arcade shopping center as soon as it opens however. Which is right in front of the pop up shop.

Make no mistake, these donuts arent your average donuts. Each of these donuts are HEAVY. (And their prices reflect that) If youre looking for a light donut look elsewhere, these donuts are dense and packed with flavor. While not all of the donuts they make are winners, there are a few standouts. The original glazed, the maple bacon, and the guava and cheese are all exceptional and also on their year round menu. EDIT: mango cronut, cronut fritter and peaches and brie. An amazing trio, try all three! The peaches and brie is amazing, dont miss out!

Oh where do I begin, I got there an the lady at the cash register was going over a menu with each customer for a min of 5 minutes, yes I counted. During this time 2 other employee were just looking around and didnt even bother to help. The line was to order was out to the sidewalk. One gentleman who was putting the donuts in the box was rubbing his nose and didnt even wash is hands, lucky for me he didnt want on me or I would of said something then. The donuts are why over price and I wasnt impress what so ever. I wont go back.

Great spot for delicious doughnuts. A pop up thats made plans to commit to a full time brick and mortar. For now it can be found out of an renovated RV towed trailer in a gravel parking lot in, but of course, Wynwood. The lines can stretch really long in the early hours, but finding a time to go without the line can be tricky as they often sell out. The bacon maple is to DIE for !! Followed at a close second by the baked chocolate. Coffee & Mexican cokes compliment all well.

While their flavors are ambitious and creative, the donuts themselves are not one to be desired. Instead of a soft, melt in your mouth sugary delight, you find yourself with a dry, dense donut that lacks flavor. I agree South Florida needs a place for a good donut, but this place doesnt hit the mark. We ordered one of every donut they offered, and I wish I could get my money back. If you truly want a good donut, come to the Midwest where people know how to make them.
