Most horrible experience ever. No updates or comments from the staff while you wait. I arrived at 6PM and since by 7:30 I had not received any update I decided to ask what was going on. The first question they asked was who are you? Who created your ticket? Do you know where it is? So after waiting an hour and a half the staff had no idea I was there and had lost my ticket and my keys. During all the fuss I realized that a gentleman that had arrived a half hour after me was already getting his car finished up while mine was still sitting outside. If thats not bad enough when I brought it up to the staff their answer was yea I know your car was supposed to be in the bay but we will take care of it when we finish these cars. As if it wasnt bad enough while writing the review a half hour after the incident because I still dont have my car back not only did the gentleman that arrived 30 minutes after get his car finished and leave but also a woman who arrived about 15 minutes after me. I would not return here and wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemy. One star is way more than what this place deserves.

Unacceptable and unprofessional work. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me Paid $500 to have a new master cylinder & rotors. They gave me a re manufactured master cylinder which stopped working after a day. Brought it back the next weekend and they said it was air in the lines so they bleed the brakes, good for one more day then back to bad brakes. The following weekend the put another re manufactured master cylinder which lasted a whopping 2 days. Finally, the next weekend I get a brand new one and the brakes are ok. Total of one month of weekends wasted. Now the icing on the cake...my car temperature gauge is past hot so I take it to be looked at. They "looked" and said "everything is working as it should, its probably an electrical malfunction with your temp gauge." Well it wasnt fine...the car overheated again 10 minutes after driving away and now will not start. I talked to a mechanic who said, it could be your thermostat. These "technicians" at pep boys do not know what they are doing. Never trusting the boys again...

I brought my car in and couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. After taking it to 4 different other places... I finally tried my last hand with Pepboys. The car died out just as I was driving it on the lot and Fernando was able to take care of me right away! Come to find out it was a faulty alternator that was under warranty from Pepboys. They replaced it right away and had it ready to go by the next day! My check engine light was still on as I was driving it away, but Fernando assured me the next day to just drive in and he would take care of it. Next thing you know Im pulling up in the rain and Fernando is ready and waiting in the lot and proceeds to run the meter to tell me what codes the check engine light is setting off-- all in the RAIN! Within no more than a minute of pulling up into the lot and leaving, Fernando was able to take care of me completely from start to finish turning off my check engine light fast getting me on my way home! Simply excellent service all the way around! Fernando is a great man!

Pepboys is the main auto supply store that I shop at, and thats partly influenced by my dad who shops here only for all his auto needs (oil, filter, etc). This particular location is kind of hidden which explains the lack of customers in the store which is actually why I like this store; its not crowded and I dont have to wait too long at the checkout lane. The store, for the most part, is clean and organized. The store associates all seem to be nice. Ive only interacted with the front cashier and the backroom associate and theyve been helpful. I also like that the front cashier is always a female (Ive never seen a male cashier here) and it makes me feel comfortable entering the store not feeling like I entered male-only territory. Thinking about it again, perhaps its a secret ploy to lure male customers. Also, now their rebates can be submitted online! I love that; no more stamps, envelopes, and mailing out the original receipt for rebates. I will be shopping here more often now.

I went to change my brake pads, i have my own mechanic but i was waiting for my wife that was at the mall de las americas, it took almost 4 to 5 hours to do the job, they didnt tell me what was going on, when they finally finished i left to work at miami beach when i was coming back home on the highway police stopped to alert me me because there was smoke coming out of my rear tires, i checked and my right rear brake was locked, next day i took it back, 2 hour later they tell me that de caliper is bad, why they didnt tell me the day before? Why they didnt noticed before even doing the job, i talked to a confident mechanic that told me that you can tell if its bat by just looking at it the right way... One hour later to make 3 hours they gave me the car with the same problem and now my brakes are weird, im taking the car to another shop and have to pay again for the same job pep boys supposedly did... By the way, those 2 days everybody was complaining about something.

Husband went in for an oil change on November 18, 2016 and came out with a damaged vehicle. My husbands truck got stuck and when lowering it they damaged the bottom step and bottom of the driver door. The manager "supposedly" assumed responsibility and did not let him file a police report as to the damages. He told my husband to come home and get a couple of estimates of the damages and to then send them to him in order to submit them for payment of his damages. To this date my husband has not received any remedy to the issue and they just keep leading him on and when he is not being let by telling him that corporate is working on it he is being told that the manager Angel Martinez, is not in. Its 3months since the incident and we WILL file suit. We are only looking for the vehicle to get fixed but if they want to play games I will take attorney fees and our time spent on this matter.

Worst customer service in any pepboys Ive been to thank to the service desk manager Angel. They charged me to fix a nail in my back tire and 2 weeks later I noticed my tire was very low on air with a nail still in it. Took my car back and they said it would take over an hour because they were busy and implied it could have been another nail..in the same spot...on the same tire. It took someone at another tire shop 10 minutes to fix and big shocker, he also confirmed there was no work done on the tire. Overall terrible service thanks to Angel Martinez. They arent quick to help and just generally seem to not care at all about customers and it starts with their horrible service manager Angel. My advice, save yourself the frustration and take your car to get serviced anywhere but here.
