**** CUSTOMERS & CONTRACTORS BEWARE**** We are one of the bigger roofing contractors in Miami and have unfortunately dealt with Florida Lumber for the past couple of years because they initially promised low prices. This has not been the case, the invoices we receive are always for a higher amount than what was quoted and they never credit us. FURTHERMORE and worst of all, their customer service is complete crap, they have an incompetant staff that can only communicate in Spanish and do not care about customer service. We bought tens of thousands from this supplier in 2011 and they closed our account and had one of our employees waiting for 4 hours because of a $600 invoice that was due. When we called them to ask for a copy of said invoice and statement to pay this invoice Isabel from their accounting department said I can not send you this until after my lunch break even though our employee was waiting there. This was just one of a very long list of issue with this company, as of this moment we will never purchase from them again and warn any other persons or contractors. Ive never written a bad review in my life and decided to create an account and write this one because I honestly feel that this company needs to be held accountable for their behavior. -S

This place is terrible. First of all, I understand there is a large Hispanic population in Miami but its a huge turn off when you have a hard time finding someone that speaks English fluently at a large store like this. They are understaffed or just staffed by people that dont really care. I work as a contractor and my shop is 2 minutes from their store but I happily drive 15 minutes out of my way to Shell Lumber in Coconut Grove to get what I need now. Better selection, English speaking employees and Im welcomed as soon as I walk in the door. Screw this place.

I have purchased 2, 4" × 12" ×20 I asked if I could select the timber myself as I wanted to make sure that the wood was in good condition. Well after selecting the wood and informing the sales rep Arturo Brito who guaranteed me that the wood I selected would be delivered. Well that was not the case. I walked in and no one even looked at me. I guess they were too busy talking to each other. After about 20 minutes of walking around the store looking for things for myself, I asked one of the raunchy, loud, and rowdy staff for help and he didnt speak English. In fact, no one in the store speaks English. I walked out and will never walk back in. I wish I had two more hands so that I could give them four thumbs down.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! They have a very good selection of interior and exterior doors. Good customer service, friendly sales associates and competitive prices. It is worth the drive to compare products with other vendors. I am very happy with my purchase and Manny my sales associate is absolutely the BEST! I highly recommend Florida Lumber. Thank you!!

If you see a positive review it must be from one of their employees. Between the horrible store hours and extremely week customer service.. I can only wonder why this place has not closed down. Also, their prices are not even competitive.. Might as well go to Home Depot or Lowes... Never shopping their again after two recent discouraging attempts.

Horrible!! Jorge Castillo from the plumbing department is horible at customer service. Be careful with him. He wont return anything. Always looking for a way to say NO. Also Castillo has no experience with plumbing what so ever. Would never buy there again. Home depot or lowes is the way to go!
