Let me preface this with my sister and I have been loyal customers for the last few years. We dont come often but this is always the first place we go to when looking for books. We came today to look for a particular book and also trade some books in towards said item. After searching for it with mild help from the employees we gave up and went to reclaim our trade. This is when it all hit the fan. I believe it was the owners daughter who literally told us when they have the books they are theres now. Um what? So after a mini back and forth confrontation she said several things that irked me. First she was extremely rude off the bat about it, literally saying phrases such as "We wasted our time to process those trades" and "thats too bad" with zero empathy. Then as an added bonus they use the excuse of "Well we wont be able to find your books". Uhhh...all of your recent trade ins are neatly stacked together, are you serious? My sister then points out the books and they treat her like a untrusty criminal, both people behaving like " We cant prove those were yours. We need the person who did your trades here". Shortening up the rest of the story we just barely got her books back but the owners daughter kept exclaiming "This is the last time we will do this!" Etc etc. Extremely rude, I cant believe this happened. They recognize us from everytime we go in and then they treat us like this? No thank you. You can go ahead and shred my store credit card because we are never coming back here again.

The owners always go out of their way for customers! Whenever I want to see something out of their special glass case, they are happy to oblige. You never know what youll find in this bookstore! Their trade-in credit program is great! They even accept DVDs, Toys, Games and Puzzles! They keep a card for each customer for the trade-in credit program. I have been going to this bookstore for many years. They were originally at the old Kmart plaza at 436 and 17-92. That plaza got torn down and now theres a new Lowes store in its place. The owners moved down 17-92 near 434. The new location is a fairly medium to smallish sized bookstore. But I have to say they make the most of their space! This place has tons of books in all fiction and non-fiction subject matters! Great place to spend a few hours or more browsing (and buying) books!

My home away from home some days, Lol. It really is easy to get lost among all the great selection and Im a regular. I always come away with some little treasure and since I read a lot that makes me a happy camper. As for the the staff Ive never found them (after 3 yrs) to be anything but, friendly even though Im sure Ive tested their patience at times trying to decide on which books to get right at closing time. Since many books are older and out of print or hard to find. The one or two other used book stores around are actually higher on most of their books. The family owned stores are few and far between now a days so I try to frequent them in this mega corporate age. Every business has their off days. Great selection of items of all kinds and I love all the cool things I come across in there.

Terrible experience.... For starters, the store was extremely unorganized and impossible to find what you are looking for whatsoever... There was no real system for how they store books. Everything is just tossed throughout the place with narrow walkways like a maze. If you are fortunate enough to find anything you may be interested in, expect to pay a "fortune" for it, because their PRICES ARE RIDICULOUSLY HIGH. Youd be better off going to a big box new books store, Amazon or EBay instead. And.... "to add insult to injury"..... The staff were very rude and unhelpful... This bookstore leaves much to be desired... I would not be surprised if they went out of business any day now....

Their trade in program is one of the most confusing and dumbest things ever. They cant give you a quote first, once they look through what you bring in it becomes their property. Also credit that you get for some items does not work for all items. Example, you cant trade in books and use that credit for DVDs. The credit also cannot be used to pay for the entire item. Only half of it, so some money is still coming out of your pocket. There is even an entire page on there website detailing the whole head spinning policy. Any policy that takes an entire page to explain must have some problems. I do not recommend this place at all.

I love this store. I cant believe all the music cds and albums they have too. Books are my Love and I cant wait to see want new books come in. I can find books at this store that no other book stores have. I dont care if a book is worn or not ,that just means a lot of people read a good book and they cost less. I can get a worn book here at a good price. THANKS FOR A WONDERFUL STORE. p.s. what a lot of music to pick from and so many books I cant believe all the titles, thanks again Roxie and Michele and Sara

This place has everything! Its all in order, and the people who work here know exactly where to find it. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Their religion section is comprehensive and orderly, and for myself, that is important. The entire store is extremely open minded to every topic, including the staff, and none of the employees are the slightest bit judgmental. Overall, 5 stars and I cant stay away. Theyre nowhere in my traffic pattern and I go there all the time. Great place!

Staff was friendly and attentive but that is where the positive ends. The store was cluttered and unorganized. The prices were way above what I would pay for used books and they offer a 50% discount if you bring in your used books and trade them in. Then I am sure they would turn around and offer them at exorbitant prices as well. I realize you need to turn a profit but you would probably profit more with a faster turn around and to do this you make your prices more reasonable.

This business is absolutely wonderful!! Family owned and homey ❤️ It boasts tons of options not only in books but so much more. I love going here and exploring the shelves. Im a tough critic on the operation and experience of things so I wanted to share how happy I am with my local book store! Been coming here for years. Owners are down to earth and friendly, staff is super awesome too :) Im actually headed there now lol

I was treated very well. The staff was extremely helpful. Gave me a fair trade in value for my items. Crystal is a nice person and good business woman. I would hire her immediately to run my store. The store is more than I expected in culture void Florida. Lots of books, records, comic books and generally something for everyone. I will continue to shop and do business there. Thanks for making my experience a good one.

I went in to look at their textbooks and was roped into a conversation by some guy who works there. He told me a story about how he literally broke the laws of physics one drunken night on a dirtbike at the beach. Then he perked his head up and ran off to go verbally attack someone who was apparently using their cell-phone in the store (I didnt hear a thing). This is not a fabrication. Avoid this place!
