Took my dog in an hour before closing to have her nails clipped and get her a bath. From the moment I called to ask if it was too late I got an attitude from the girl who answered the phone. I know what its like when annoying customers come in right before closing, but this was an entire hour before and I was out by 5:30. When I show up, the girl I spoke to on the phone continues to be rude and have an attitude with me in person. I ignore it and decide to kill them with kindness. Then, I come back into the grooming room after walking around the entire store and they are clipping my dogs nails at this point. Of course my dog was crying and scared, so one of the girls working (without realizing I had stepped back into the room and could hear everything she was saying) starts bad mouthing my 3 month old puppy. If you cant handle working with dogs who are scared without them "getting on your nerves" maybe you should find a job that doesnt require you to! To think she would get so aggravated by my dog just because she is crying and scared makes me question what she would have done behind closed doors to any dog that acted out the same way mine did or even more than mine did. And once she realized I was there and heard she tried to sweet talk my dog and be extra nice to me. I will NOT be returning.

Weve have 3 small dogs and was trying to find a place to get their nail trimmed. We decided to try Pets mart. First time we went in with our 3 dogs we where told only one could be have their toenails trimmed. The other two had to have rabies shot before they could have their nails trimmed. So we waited for a clinic to get their shots. They got them. Then we took them back to Pet Smart to get there nails trimmed but couldnt have them trimmed because they had to be rabies shot in their system for 48 hr. So went back a couple of days after the rabies waiting period was over to get all 3 of our dogs toenail trimmed. Walked in asked if she could do their nails trimmed. Very rude, nasty yelling have to bring them back another day So Ill never never set foot in Pet Smart store@225 NW Common Loop Lake City Fla32055. . I see that staff comes before the custome at this store. The Grooming staff needs to go to school for Manners. Ill let everyone know this store stinks and DONT recommend this place.

The store was a lot smaller than what I was use to from the Jacksonville,FL one. Hoping to enjoy a new store and adventure that from what I am/was use to. Ending up very disappointed in the services I received in small animals. The young copper haired man who worked in the fishing area was very rude, full of attitude and rolling his eyes after telling me ( a owner of goldfish for 14 years ) what I was doing was wrong, how the breed I picked was not wise in my tank etc. etc. I can fully understand if you have a beginner pet owner for fish, As I have been working with & owning these fish for years. So this young mans sour attitude and customer service pretty much rendered me to never want to return. Will take my business and pet needs back to Jacksonville, Perhaps Commons Loop you need to train your associates a bit more in common decency & respect. Always a great groom and a great experience for my furbaby! The grooming staff are all friendly and knowledgeable and I have always been very happy with the cut, unlike the other "big" local place. Various pricing packages allow me to fit what I need at that time into my budget and still pamper my pooch. Being able to watch without being seen by my pet as she is being groomed definitely gives me peace of mind as to how she is being treated. I am normally all about "buy local", but my buy local experience was not good for my precious pooch. Her safety and well-being come first, which is why PetSmart is always my first choice!

I called in this morning and spoke with a guy in the grooming dept. who said they could schedule my cat any hourly time from 1PM-4PM. I called again about 30 min. later and girl answers and tells me they cant groom my cat today and that they only do cats on Tuesday. How inconvenient is that! I work Monday - Friday. They just lost a customer....I will be dropping my cat off at the Pet Spot this week before work. They offer free day care with any groom.

I was interested in the training program Petsmart has to check it out for my dog. The trainer informed me and another woman about the classes. I signed up for the beginner class that runs 6 weeks every Saturday at 10 a.m. I understand now why my dog does some of the things she does. I really look forward to the classes and hope other people would come and check them out for their dogs.

The grooming salon has really lost its Friendly charm and courtesy....the groomer cut my Beautiful Shih Tzu the the complete opposite of what I wanted...pretty much shaved her and cut off her Gorgeous eyelashes and now her eyes tear non stop...A groomer should know that is unhealthy for a dog...Shows how little they care...they did refund my money...that the little for what they did...

We took our farm patrol dog Clover in to see Jared and Co. at PetSmart Grooming in Lake City. Clover rarely comes into town but she was totally happy and relaxed being groomed. Thanks for giving Clover her summer cut and making our farm look classy for a few minutes - until she rolled in the dirt! :-)

They do a good job and every time I was told that my dog was very good or well behaved. I was not told that they muzzled my dog. I used to love bring my dog there but when they neglected to tell me that my dog had to be muzzled I am not sure what to think now.

This is a good PetSmart, however they are a bit smaller than some of the other stores thus not as well stocked. If you are looking for a specific item I highly suggest calling first.
