DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE IN KISSIMMEE!!!! THEY ARE UNKNOWLEDGEABLE AND WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF!!!!!!!! On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving (11/27/13) we had an antifreeze hose problem on the Florida Turnpike of which we were able to get temporarily fixed until we got to Pep Boys in Kissimmee. It took them about 45-60 minutes to get the car in and look at it. I can understand that because of us just showing up. However, they told us a radiator hose was shredded AND the thermostat was shot. I couldnt believe it since we were able to use duct tape to temporarily plug a hole and my engine temp gauge was holding steady just below 200 with a new gallon of antifreeze. Next they told us they couldnt get parts until Tuesday of the next week!!!!!! Now, we have a VW Routan (minivan) of which I know (and I am not a mechanic) that has a Dodge engine of which they should have the parts in their store. They were adamant that they could not fix it until the following week. I asked if there was a way to by-pass it and they said no. I paid them their $45 fee and had them put my minivan in the parking lot. We called AAA for an alternative option. While waiting for the AAA person to show up, I looked under the hood at the situation. The duct tape we put on it was still intact; so I know they didnt look at the leak carefully. I was able to determine that it was just a small leak, but still a problem. The AAA person(Clyde of Dellwood Service) showed up and WAS VERY HELPFUL!!! I put a clean patch of duct tape on the puncture and was able to follow Clyde to the tow service he worked for which is Dellwood Service, 2112, N. Main Street. It was about a mile away. Clyde waited around until a relative showed up from Palm Beach Gardens which is about 2.5 hours away. Clyde said that Dellwood has a great mechanic and would give us a call at 8:00am Friday morning. Sure enough, we got a phone call at 8:00am and with an estimate of time to repair and a cost. 2.5 hours later, I get another call from Clyde that the car is done. Dellwood Service is awesome!!!! Michael, the mechanic, showed us the problem (of which I exactly thought was the problem) and shared with me that he was able to get the part from the local Dodge dealership of which they had a total of 6 of them!!! The PEP BOYS mechanics were TOTALLY IGNORANT OF THE PROBLEM!!!!! I think they just saw VW on the car and assumed there was no way to get parts quickly. They did nothing other than pull the van into the bay and lifted the hood. NEVER EVER, EVER, EVER USE THIS PEP BOYS PLACE!!!!!!!! Take all of your car issues to Dellwood Services on North Main; they will treat you right.

The worst experience ever...I am a Tire Plus client, but due to relocation, I stopped for service at this store located on 302 W Vine St Kissimmee FL 34741 November 25, 2013.I needed changes in my oil and filter, air filter Purolator, cabin filter, wiper blades, with the service of tire rotation. I dropped off my car and two hours later when I came to pick it up, they informed me there was an issue with my oil pan. I was informed that the drain plug thread on my oil pan was stripped and leaking. My Volkswagen CC 2009 oil changes are done every 5,000 miles. I have never encountered such problem with my car. There is no way I can drive 5,000 miles with a leaking drain plug thread in my oil pan. I expressed this thought with Robert (Asst. Manager), and I felt an attitude from him with his customer service skills. Then Evelyn (Manager) proceeded with my case, and she was a bit more helpful, actually trying to satisfy my discomfort. Even when I told them that this issue was not present upon bringing my car to their shop, I still had to pay $214 out of pocket for a new oil pan, meanwhile Evelyn excused the labor costs. I went online to find the Corporate Customer Service number, and called the next day. With that call I was given 224074 as my case number. All they said was that I would be contacted soon. The next day, I received a call from this store by Evelyn, following up on my situation. In conclusion, I have not received a call from the Corporate office or the store location to follow up on my situation. I work in the restaurant industry, and I will make sure I share my unpleasant experience with those around me.

This pep boys is the worst . 1st of all the service advisor who they call josi is rude. I went there for a diagnostic on my 2011 chevy cruze. It took them 1 week to get back to me just to tell me what was wrong with my car. They said i needed $1500 in parts and labor so i said ok just get my car fixed. 2 weeks later car was still in shop amd i recieve a phone call from josi the service advisor telling me that they change all the parts needed and that the rpm is still fluctuating and she told me they cant figure out the problem so they are referring me to chevy dealer. Got my car towed from pep boys to chevy and chevy did a diagnastic on my vehicle and called me in 1 day telling me that my problem all along was that i needed a new intake manifold. So basically the fake pep boys grease monkeys that have no clue what they were doing ripped me off for $1500 and left my car the same way. Also they ripped my bumper amd said that it was like that when it wasnt. Tried calling josie the service advisor in reporting this issue and she dodged my calls and never retuened my calls. These employees all at pepboys should be fired including the techs that have no idea in what they are doing and they are very unprofessional and some barely speak english. This is bad for buisness for pepboys . I have been a big shopper at pep boys and because of this experience i will never set foot again into any of there stores amd will always share my experience with other people.....WARNING BEWARE STAY AWAY

What a dump. Everyone here hates their job and avoids helping anyone. I think my cat knows more about working on cars than most of the women they hire and the guys ignore you unless youre family in their "import pandilla" or youre a puta in spandex with youre cheeks hanging out. We have ancient terminals at our work but their computer system is either the most horrible or they just like to pretend theyre busy on the phone. One visit took the manager 15 minutes to get a refund I needed put on a gift card. He disappeared twice and put it on 3 different cards. It felt so shady I called to make sure the money was there. This place really gives Pep Boys in general a bad reputation. Ive given this place 6 chances and they screw up every time. I stopped asking for help after 5 separate times for 5 separate items I basically found the items on my own or waited so long to ask someone I just gave up and found it myself quicker. Next time I need another battery (the only thing left on my car under warranty there) its worth the drive to just find another Pep Boys. There is no running in and running out of this one for a quick part or tool, plan for a 15-20 minute visit at least. My advice; go to AutoZone, theyre all much friendlier and helpful and always have the part or a close by store that has what I need. The lines are stupid annoying, but better worth it. Also they have a warehouse/distribution close by Orange Ave so they get parts much quicker.
