My uncle has been coming here for years. I just moved to Jacksonville a few months ago and I was looking for a place to shop for my 6 year old Siberian Husky. After hearing all the great things he had to say, we decided to go over one day when she wouldnt take to her food (Rachel Ray) and was having tummy issues. Upon walking in I knew I was going to love the place. There were so many animals to look at and hold and I even had a conversation with a bird. Yes. Me and a bird became friends just like that. Her name is Lilly and she will literally snuggle you if you pet her. I have never met a bird quite like this one. Its obvious her owners show her a LOT of love. I got some dog shampoo, flea and tick spray, dog food and some treats and a very friendly lady at the counter gave me some extra goodies to try for my fury baby. As soon as I got home I put the food in her bowl, she finished it immediately and was looking at me for seconds. Within just a day or two her digestion was much better and she was a happy girl again. I cant remember the name but theres a wolf on the bag! This will definitely be my go to place for any and all my pet needs!

Very convenient location for chicken feed and general pet supplies. I would much rather support local when I can, vs going all the way to Tractor Supply or True Value for chicken feed. We also got a really sweet dwarf bunny here and a great deal on the supplies to get started with him. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, shes happy to answer any questions that you might have and the staff will generally carry hay or feed out to your car if you ask. They have high quality dog food but its not the brand we use for my dogs so I generally buy that at Costco. Otherwise, we enjoy each visit and the kids love looking at the fish. I really wish the locals would support this store because over the past year Ive seen its stock and displays really cut down and I get the impression that they are struggling. Id hate to see a local family business go out of business so well continue to shop here for as long as we can.

Customer service sucks. The owner at the counter greeted me with a hello, but sat on her ass.I stood there while some other guy helped a man, then disappeared saying hed be back. The owner came to the back where I was standing for easily a good 10minutes, and helped someone else that came in after I had sold the guy she was helping the plants I had been standing there waiting on. Hey if my money isnt green enough, then I will go elsewhere. And believe me the many aquarium groups I am in will know how I feel. And this is not the first time I have gone in this place. Similar service before. The selection is not that great. And another funny ,to me, thing is they have a Degu marked as a guinea pig. Smh. Cant believe I wasted my time to come here

Kim the owner is one of the nicest most knowledgeable person about pets that Ive ever met. They have a great selection of fish both fresh and saltwater and you can buy fish that have already grown. The problem I have with like PetsMart is all of their fish are new born size, so once you have an established tank to where your fish have grown you cant add PetsMart smaller fish anymore without the chance of your now bigger fish of destroying them. We are truely a customer for life.

I had a phenomenal experience here, I just moved to the area and this is my go to store for my pets needs from now on. Their tetras are healthy and reasonably priced, they carry my Taste of the Wild dog food brand at the cheapest Ive ever seen, they give out free samples of all the brands different flavors! They are friendly and prompt in their service of customers. Plus, the most adorable chicks and ducklings and baby turkeys ever!!!

This place has a decent selection of animals and supplies... but theres no customer service. We walked though the door.. just got looked at, no smile no hello. Walked the whole store and no help was offered. Person at cash register was yapping the whole time to someone so I didnt bother. They gave me no reason to make them my supplier. The level of customer services makes or breaks a new customer. I wont be returning.

Called on the phone, staff was very rude and didnt even know what they had in stock, proceeded to correct me on what I was asking for even when I clarified several times, if you are someone who is seriously raising livestock or pets I would recommend something else locally that has better knowledge and will take care of you and your pets better.

This place is overpriced by $8.00 plus tax on anything there and the selection and quantity is sad! Very rude to! The outside of the building is misleading! I should of known when I called took 35 minutes to tell me they carry my dogs food! Go to Standard Feed on Kings Street as they are better and better customer service!

The Kindest, sweetest people who will help you in any way shape or form inside aswell as outside of the store. large array of exotic fish, birds and mammals and everything you need any day of the week. they also have the best feeders at the best price for all you snake owners out there :).

The pet grooming is amazing! Took loving care of my dog. Everyone is so welcoming as you walk in. The store has great selection and the building itself is very spacious.
