Customer service is so bad here. I went in and was looking for someone to help me and I only saw one guy at the registers, and this was after I looked around for sombody. I asked him if anyone is here to help and he said he would get someone. I waited 10 minutes with my 1 and 2 yr old, and still nobody came. I went back to the guy and he looked as if he couldnt believe i havent been helped yet. So he made an announcement again and a girl came right out of an office / break room that was right next to him. She went over to see if they had what I was looking for and she said no. I said OK, maybe you can check to see if there are some in back for me? Well, I was not surprised, at all, when she said she doesnt have any back there. Umm ok, you could have checked instead of being obviously lazy And I checked the grooming place out, I was shocked at how dirty it was. Please do no get your pets groomed at a pet store, its just torture for them. This one girl had just finished a cut, and instead of cleaning her station, which was covered in dog hair and dust, she took another dog. Oh boy, I just dont understand how they get away with things!

This review relates to the Grooming only. Product wise I have had much success there. DO NOT GROOM YOUR DOG THERE - if you care about how the dog looks afterward. We have been trying different groomers for our standard poodle. We went to Petco once and had an okay experience. Decided to try again...bad idea! Our poodle went there with a nice tail pom and head pom. He left with a shaved tail! Have you ever seen a poodle with a shaved tail? When I asked the groomer about it, she told me it was too matted to save the tail pom. This has never been an issue before. I believe it was sheer laziness. It was easier to remove the pom, than to address the mats. I am angry that they did not even call to ask whether I was okay with them shaving his tail. Now it will take months to grow back. As if that was not bad enough, you have to pay BEFORE you seen the grooming job. Which means I did not even know about the tail until after I had already waited in line for twenty minutes to pay in the main store. Will not use or recommend this grooming salon ever again.

This place is digusting. You all should be ashamed of yourself and your employees. These animals shouldnt have to keep suffering because of your negligence. You let your animals overheat and die when the AC goes out, and you just left this dead baby bearded dragon in the food bowl. I was there for 40 minutes and nobody did ANYTHING. Crammed into a tiny tank with older dragons capable of EATING THEM. Future purchasers/adopters, DO YOUR RESEARCH AND FIND A REPUTABLE BREEDER. This is what you get from stores like these. Dead and ill animals that arent cared for at all.

They have lots of supplies for dogs and cats. Other animals supplies are good to. You can find a reptile section, also food for these critters. Fish department is good but the salt water fish are prone to be disease infected (hope person in charge could do a better job). Small animals section is ok. In general the store is very clean and well organized. Leashed dogs are always welcome. The dogs treat bar is a great feature. Store is good to get supplies for pets but staff is very limited, though employees are very helpful.

I have multiple pets and petco is my first choice every time. Their bettas are always well cared for with clean water and Ive always been helped promptly when I needed it. In fact Im going in today as soon as they open to pick up some things for my cat and bettas. The reason Im reviewing is people should not be swayed just by the bad reviews for this location its an excellent store with knowledgeable people.
