The restaurant was good. Lobster mac n cheese was incredible. Love to see the open kitchen and chefs preparing the food. However, the waitress brought us luke-warm tap water with no ice? I think that might be a fancy restaurant thing...but I want ice! Now, for the store experience: I want so badly to enjoy shopping here...but the workers are supremely snobby. Not sure why and maybe I just wander into the wrong depts., but especially in the makeup area...the rudeness is unreal. I either get bombarded or unacknowledged - no in between. One instance, I was browsing the M.A.C. eye shadows and the sales woman came over to me and asked if I needed help. I said "Oh, no thank you Im just looking around!" and she replied with, "Right, well...what are you looking for?" I was just weirded out by that reply...I REALLY didnt need help and wasnt looking for anything specific, so I didnt even know how to respond. STRANGE and rude. I hate coming here even though the products are lovely - the people are awful.

I have just recently moved to the Jacksonville area as a UNF student. I have now visited this location of Nordstrom twice, and am fully thrilled with my experience. Believe me, I am not naïve in the world of departmental luxury goods, as I am from an area host to Saks Fifth Avenue. This being, I have ample reason to praise the Jacksonville Nordstrom. The store is wonderfully laid out, and the employees as well as management are professional and engaging. There is a particularly noteworthy employee, Judy, whom I have run into both times around the accessories counter. She has quite spectacularly, in my opinion, represented Nordstrom as both a quality store and brand. She was fully helpful, inviting, and made me feel as if I had known her and had been shopping at this location for years. For this, I was inspired to apply, just to part of a family of retail such as this fine exemplification. I am excited to continue shopping at Jacksonville Nordstrom for years to come. Thank you.

This Nordstrom is not ready to carry the brand that is supposed to represent outstanding service. I just went into the JAX location for the third time and was treated rudely when spending money! Today the clerk actually threw a $200 gift card at me without making eye contact, said, "here you go," and then got an attitude when I asked for it to be nicely packaged. When I asked to talk with the manager (Mo), he had no explanation and barely apologized, seemingly uninterested and too busy to talk with an unhappy customer. I am accustomed to the excellent Nordstrom service attitudes in NY, Chicago and San Francisco. This JAX Nordstrom should be rebranded as KMart based on the staff. After waiting so long for the opening in town, they continue to disappoint.

Nordstrom is my favorite store to shop. The atmosphere is welcoming, this location has an amazing restaurant upstairs, there are several cosmetic counters and all departments are well stocked. My only complaint is that this location does not carry many high end brands I asked a sales associate about this when looking for a particular shoes and he said theres isnt a large enough market in Jax. So buyer beware when you looking for those new Giusepps or Jimmy choos

I just bought a watch from here. My jewelry person was nice and respectful. But, the white employees were rude and racist as usual. Its funny because I probably make 4x the amount they make but, because theyre white they think they are better than you! LMAO Good luck with your drug and alcohol problems white people! #cluelesswhitepeople

The decor and atmosphere is as nice as any Nordstroms store. Very nice selection of current styles and reasonable prices. The cafe is quiet and well appointed refuge to have a delicious fresh meal. The staff is very pleasant and helpful to recommend specials and dishes that are popular with guest. Id definitely return.

Jacksonville is lucky to have a Nordstom in Jacksonville. Great brands, top-notch atmosphere, excellent service, and even an in-store restaurant/bar and coffee shop. Ive shopped online with them for a while (always a great experience) but its awesome having the store in town.

I order a watch for valentines day the Friday before valentines day they told me it would be back that Monday here it is valentines day and I dont have my gift nor has it been shipped out this is awful and Im highly upset
