I have been a patron of this establishment for years and years. To this point I have purchased 2 pistols, an ar15 lower receiver, a Nikon scope, many magpul accessories, I 2 reloading presses with many a reloading accessories, ALL my reloading supplies such as gun powder, primers and projectiles. I literally spent $450 last week on another reloading press and such. I would expect with my patronage and money spent they would give some sort of discount to loyal customers who would give to their LOCAL suppliers and gun shops. After spending $450 last week, I walked in to spend yet again around $80 to $100 more. I simply asked the attendant if I purchased 2 totaling $45 if she would sell me an item marked $47, for $40. She said no and stated they already sell them for as low as possible or they wouldnt be making any money. Well, excuse me, but from this point on you wont be getting ANY money from me. I did not speak my mind as I am not a ride person and I pride myself for my manners. I will spend money elsewhere where my hard earned dollars are appreciated more as from an individual, not just the next customers. And it seems as though this last past year, their prices have increased dramatically. Their prices used to be competitive but now they seem to be more expensive then lets say Dan pawn, or even Jimmys pawn for crying out loud. It is sad, they are very personable, but their high prices and inability to give a patron, who in all years purchased over $3k in total a 8 dollar discount on an overall $90 sale is the last I can deal with. It seems as though $7 discount has costed them a lifetime customer. I can no longer recommend them to my fellow gun entheusiest. Its sad when I must ultimately pull my dollars out of local businesses and order online, but such is the world now. I also was interested in a savage long range model 10 in .308. Bass pro had it for $999. Ranger firearms has it for $1129.99. I asked if they would price match and they said much the same thing, " we price it as low as we can so no I cannot price match" thats fine did purchase that weapon from bass pro for 1059.99 out the door. Bass pro shop also has a wide variety of powders which are cheaper than ranger firearms. Let that sink in, BASS PRO has cheaper prices on like products than Ranger firearms. Nuff said.

I have been trading with Ranger firearms since the first week they were open. I have never received anything other than excellent customer service, from knowledgeable employees. If you do ask an employee a question that they do not understand he or she will not hesitate to say " you know I really do not know let me ask". As far as I am concerned you could not ask for better customer service personnel. My personal favorite customer service story from this outfit is that I recently sent my wife who just got her concealed carry permit into the store without me to talk to somebody about what she should carry. I particularly asked that she talk to one of the ladies working there however there was no one there and she talked to a gentleman. This young man took an inordinate amount of time to show my wife what was available and took the opportunity to discuss other options rather than what I had recommended for her. I was incredibly pleased with the service we received. As I told the owners," thank God you did not try to sell her a pink gun". The other thing I want to talk about is the excellent job they did during the late shortages, they made sure by using Facebook that every body knew what was available and more importantly they made sure that one or two people could not buy up all the stock so they would be some left for the rest of us. They keep an excellent selection of reloading supplies and also teach classes on reloading for those looking to get into it. In short though I have friends in almost every other gun store in town this is the one I go to. And I would recommend it for anyone.

Ive found the staff to be just fine. During the recent "dry" times, theyve had ammo no one else has, and though I have to drive a long way to get it I have to admit theyve rationed it fairly. Small shops have almost all had to raise prices simply because of supply and demand. If they dont have much product, they need to get as much as the market will pay for what they do have. Big chains like Bass Pro and Wal-Mart can keep prices low, but small dealers just cant. I expect competition will solve that problem once more guns and ammo are available. As for phone calls, they have a small staff, and their priority has to be tending to the people standing in front of them. I just follow these rules: (1) Dont call just after the store opens or when theyre getting ready to close. Those are rush hours. (2) Keep it short and simple, preferably something that can be answered "Yes" or "No". If you ask questions like "What ammo have you got?" or "What ARs do you have?" theyll probably brush you off. And they should. By the way, Im a retiree living in Destin, and am in no way affiliated with this store or its staff.

Ranger Firearms is not the only place to purchase concealed carry weapons. You have others off Eglin Parkway. That being said why would I purchase a weapon at a place that is more expensive? Why would anyone give more of their hard earned money for the exact product when there is another place that will save you that $30 or $40...? I walked in yesterday and priced the .38 and 357s. The lady said they dont give police or fire discounts or even honor military or retired military. What kind of firearms store doesnt offer a discount for police or fireman...let alone military? Business need to realize we as consumers dont need them they need us. I will not be buying anything from Ranger Firearms for them not supporting us or budging on prices. Why would I again pay more when others in town will do for less. And who cares Im just one person right. Well wrong. Word of mouth is free advertisement and if these people were smart they would work with their customers.

Sales staff is friendly and nice to work with. Management... a little disconcerting. I purchased thousand dollar + firearm, and handled it for an hour. I decided the firearm didnt feel right, and asked about an exchange. Not even a discussion... just nope. Ive spent a few thousand dollars at the store, but Ill spend not a dime more. I suggest going to a store where the customer is valued, and management thinks about the long term. Go to a store where they care about long term satisfaction and repeat business.

Outstanding, fantastic, friendly and very knowledgeable staff. They encourage you to feel like part of the store family. The store is small in size but packs a punch once inside. It just full of high quality firearms to accessories. The mainly female staff is very knowledgeable and Justin is a specialist in long range shooting. If they dont have it in stock they are more then willing to order it in for you. I strongly encourage everyone to visit this unique fulfilling firearms stores.
