We have been to Bass pro on a few occasions and have always enjoyed our visits. We usually make a day of it and break up our visit with lunch in their restaurant. Yesterdays visit started pretty good. While we were upstairs, we went to the camping section where we look look over the balcony and see the ATVs and boats. We looked at one boat in particular from the balchony and decided we would go down and enquire more about it. When we got downstairs and around by the fish tank we were approached by a man asking us if we had entered their $25k draw. I said we hasnt so he brought us to a desk where he got us to fill in a form and then he proceeded to tell us about bass pro resorts. He coulld get us 3 nights for $149 but we would have two attend a 2 hour child friendly seminar. My five year old was already starting to get restless so I asked him to give me a copy of the terms and conditions that he was reading out. He said he couldnt unless I gave him the money and then he brought in his manager to put the pressure on me to sign up. I got it all, from them sending their grandparents on the trips and repeat customers. I asked them were they affiliated or owned by Bass Pro and they dodged around that question. I told them straight up that I wanted to get their brochure and terms and have s think about it as they were starting to sound like two used car sales men. This wasnt an option. I must pay now. I walked away and tried to find my wife and daughter , who were now waiting outside. Im annoyed that Bass Pro would have these hustlers trying to sell time shares. I thought it would have been in there interest that I buy s boat instead! I dont think I will be back anytime soon.

Fishhouse in Ft. Myers . Alles in allem muss man sagen, das hier ein Besuch unbedingt eingeplant werden sollte

Bought a Tracker All Welded Grizzly 1754 Jon Boat. The floatation compartments I discovered less than a week later. All had voids in them. They were not completely filled with foam floatation. This coupled with the fact that as part of the neglegent manufacturing process. Tracker does not seal the compartments after pouring foam into the closed compartments through a 1" diameter HOLE in the top of the compartments. Instead they install a plastic plug that is not even remotely waterproof. My boats compartments had so much water in them from sitting on the lot open to the elements that the foam inside the floatation compartments were saturated with water. This is a problem with the entire tracker line as of this review. Since 2000 there have been 25 models recalled, and most due to insufficient level floatation or not enough floatation to meet the boats capacity ratings. I am taking the boat back for a complete refund. I will update this review afterwards.

Sooo... they have a great selection of tactical gear, but horrible employees. My boyfriend and I were upstairs walking around and shopping for camping gear and an employee in that section (who was too busy to acknowledge us previously because he was having a personal conversation on the floor,) literally came up behind us in the aisle we were in and STARED AT US. Like, full on casing us. For a good minute or more. I finally turned around because it was so awkward and said, "Uhm.. hello..?" And the first thing that came out of that mans mouth was- "Oh! Sorry, I uhhhhhh.. wasnt trying to sneak up on you guys! Just needed to uhm... check something over here." And thats cool and all- but he didnt. He literally didnt do anything in that aisle afterwards, and went back to his chatting after we left that area. I watched. You guys need to reign your out-of-line employees in. Everyone else at the store was fine, but that really, really left a sour taste in my mouth.

This was the first Bass Pro Shop Ive ever been to. I am 16 years old and a big fishing enthusiast. This place was the BOMB!!! If I was aloud I would of stayed there the whole day. I was extremely impressed by the HUGE fish-tank and there selection of, well, anything and everything outdoors related! I mean even the bathroom was cool. The staff was astronomical!!! One of the employees saw me browsing and brought me to another spot of the store where they had basically the same fishing gear but it was far cheaper. He then told me and my brother how to use the gear, where to use it, and when to use it!!! I just couldnt believe that this guy was helping us save about 50 - 75% on these lures he showed us! I apologize that I dont remember this employees name, but I would like to thank him for giving us a great deal and taking time away from what ever he wouldve been doing if he wasnt helping us. If there was a 6 star button I wouldve pressed it!!!

Great store and great service. Super people. My father and I visited the Bass Pro in Ft Myers yesterday. We have fished from Montana to the Great Lakes to the Chattahoochie River, but have limit knowledge and experience of saltwater techniques and tackle - our last experience was a private half day with a charter captain out of Sarasota which was awesome! With that we were looking to purchase some basic rods and gear to do some leisurely inshore fishing off the side of a pontoon boat - nothing too serious, just relaxing and throwing out a line or two. We met Chuck who was a great listener and wealth of knowledge - he patiently answered our questions and gave us options and suggestions. I highly recommended this store and Chuck or his associates in the fishing area! We left completely satisfied and will continue to return. Thanks!! Brian -Osprey, FL

This Bass Pro Shop is exceptionally awesome. Walking in, check out the photos of giant fish people had caught in the past before passing through the turnstile. Straight up ahead is a large tank of a variety of fish you would find in the region, including catfish, trout and alligator gar! I was literally thinking about how yummy these fish would be... They also have a ton of fishing rods, wheels and baits for you to check out. There were a bunch of fishermen there, even on New Year morning!!! Dont miss out on the upstairs section, which includes a selection of guns (pistols, rifles, shotguns, etc.). The guy behind the counter will find the perfect one for your needs. Also upstairs is a bow and arrow section - they looked pretty high tech!

Horrible!!!!!! Worst experience ever. Bought a sale item went up to the counter wasnt ringing up on sale. The Manager BETH came up to the register was very unprofessional yelled at the cashier that he wasnt doing his job correctly and he should know how to do his job (found out it was only his third day). After 25mins waiting on another employee upstairs to check the barcode the line became very long with customers. A customer then asked if we could step aside and allow the other customers to be checked out. Beth again yelled at the customer and said "No, were already in the process of checking out". Over all horrible experience and I will be calling corporate on Monday. I will never buy another item from this store again.
