We decided to go on a vinyl quest one Saturday and We Got the Beats was the second stop on quest. WGTB is a small, cozy little store with a pretty decent selection. A large portion of the inventory is taken up with re-issues and some collectors pieces. there are two large tables full of used records from various decades. Like the other record shop in FtL, WGTB focuses on dance and new releases with country being shoved into where ever it fits. The owner obviously has a love of 80s New wave as there is quite an ample selection of discs from my misspent youth. The owner opened up his storeroom fro us to dig around in the stacks of 45s which had not made the cut (45s being a select market). Wed go back, Its a cute place.

Very friendly staff that knows what they have in stock and have to order. I also like that the store is organized by genre instead of media type. For example, all disco LPs, CDs and cassettes are in one section instead of being separated into different departments.

Tony has the best prices on new vinyl. A huge selection from dance to rock. Love the $3 bin. I have found some real gems for great prices. Awesome store.
