I love this store for their non refrigerated organic tomatoes, so full of flavor because they arent in the cold. However, their chiquita bananas are picked VERY unripe and Im lucky to find any yellow ones, this means the peak of nutrition is not achieved. I was here recently, and I grabbed a bag of organic oranges from the section intended for it, or so i thought. It seems the produce is in quite a disarray often... so I brought these oranges home to find they were not the ones I intended to get. For some reason this conventional orange bag was ontop of the organic ones and it was treated with both phenylphenol thiabendazole and imazalil, the second being carcinogenic. It happens to actually penetrate the fruit and cannot be washed off, yuck. Of course, this would be the only time that I did not receive a receipt. I would go back and try to exchange, but I live too far away. So, just check and double check your produce or it can have things on it not fit for human consumption.

Aldi is a great grocery store when youre on a budget. They dont have absolutely everything, but all the essentials. My average cost for Publix/Walmart grocery shopping is about $100, but at Aldi I have never gone above $80. It is set up so that the workers do as little as possible, so you put a quarter in the cart to use it. You get it back when you return it, it is to prevent carts from being left in the parking lot. They also have plastic or paper bags, but they cost a few cents each, so I recommend getting some reusable bags. It can be a little chaotic if you go during a busy time, as the isles are pretty small and for the most part you have to follow a certain line. Overall, I would recommend Aldi to anyone on a budget.

The produce is hit-or-miss, but weve cut our grocery bill down a lot by shopping here for staples: cereal, milk, canned goods, frozen meats and veggies. The seasonal & home supplies section also have great deals on interesting stuff occasionally. Bought a decent Razr-style scooter there. Found a bag of peanut-flavored Cheeto-style snacks from their German food line that was nothing short of amazing (it was a "special buys" product, so I havent seen it since). Occasionally homeless folks will ask for change in the parking lot (its not in a wealthy neighborhood), but its not a big deal.

Only thing nice about this Aldi is prices. Selection is so so. Today no cheries for the past 3 trips. Also no cookies that we like and no shrimp rings. Only 2 registers open, but there were 4 employees in the office talking. Last visit there were 4 employees In the parking lot watching the eclipse. Also the employees should not take up all the spaces in the front of the lot. Those spaces should be saved for customers.

Good variety and good quality at excellent prices. Very hard-working staff go out of their way to help you. Occasional minor issues with produce - as always examine carefully. VERY good return policy - exchange AND refund - and they arent kidding! Bathrooms are always clean. Ive shopped here over 5 years. I often recommend it to friends and family.

Great grocery store. The employees are friendly, prices are low, products are good quality. The meats are excellent. Lots of organic products. I stopped shopping at the major grocery stores (Publix/Winn Dixie, etc) months ago and have saved a lot of money without sacrificing good quality food. Now I use my Publix bags for Aldies.

Not bad, about what youd expect from an Aldi (which is my go-to grocery store), but the layout of the store feels a bit random and similar types of products could be grouped together better. Product availability and shelf stocking is not quite as consistent as other Aldi locations Ive visited.

Love the look of the renovation of the Mason ,Ave. store. Wide aisles, larger selection of groceries. Some higher shelves in the fruit and salad section are difficult to reach ( for shorter seniors). Same for the open refrigerated shelves. All in all, a great improvement!

I love the store and the products,but check out is terrible. Every thing gets thrown into the basket. There seems to be no respect for food. As one who grow food at one time check out hits me hard. It also wastes money. That is another thing i am against.

Great store that even beats Walmarts prices. All of the selections are mainly natural or organic. I love their gourmet cheeses which are usually a small fortune to buy in other grocery stores. Very clean and organized so it is easy to get in and get out.

Aldi will save you money on just the everyday items required. They have many organic options, etc. Fabulous place. Cant wait until they expand this location. If you cant wait, like me on occasion, go to the New Smyrna Beach location on SR44 near I95.

This is a great grocery store. You can save so much money without ever clipping a coupon. The selection is not as large as the big guys - but who needs 30 mustards to choose from?? Love this store - Ormond Beachside needs one.

Great prices but they wont discount the prices if you want to purchase, lets say, an open box of something, and its the last one....you pay regular price. And no coupons allowed. Still my choice of grocery stores.
