I would give it less than one if possible. Bought shoes for a wedding I was to attend. I did not attend, due to an illness. I did not need the shoes, so I brought them back. They told me it would be 24 - 48 hours to refund my money to my DEBIT card. It has been almost a week, and I have not seen the refund. Not a lot of money, but the principle. I returned pants and a shirt to other stores, (unworn, with receipt, paid for with same card), and then gave me the refund instantly. I suppose that Payless doesnt trust its customers, or its merchant services so they need to hold on to the money. Or maybe they are cashing in on the 2 weeks worth of interest that the funds will generate. I will never shop there again, cheap or not!
