Im new to Orlando and needed to get out and try to find some new running shirts. So, I did a quick search of all the running shops in Orlando and came up with 3 main choices: Fit 2 Run, Track Shack, and Fleet Feet. I liked Fit 2 Runs selection but its youre typical mall-oriented store; meaning - not all staff know what theyre talking about AND all they care about is selling their personal favorites (this is the second Fit 2 Run Ive been to-Gainesville being the other-and every sales person Ive had there has said, and I quote, "Yeah, I dont know much about those brands, but heres the brand I like and heres what most people buy." Terrible experience. Track Shack had plenty of customers and the staff seemed to be helping them just fine. However, I spent 15 mins in the store and not a single employee came up and asked if they could help me nor did anyone care that I walked out after looking around and even trying on some shirts. I was apparently invisible. Not a bad selection of running gear, but not a great experience. Fleet Feet was amazing! As soon as I walked in the store, I was greeted by (I think his name was) Brian and we proceeded to talk about my current running level and goals and what brought me in the store. After about 10 mins of talking and him showing me the different pluses and minuses of running shirts and shorts and how certain ones would work a little better for what Im trying to do, we narrowed down my choices to my best options. Of course, I decided to try on every shirt just as a reference and they were completely cool with that. During my 30 or 40 mins in the store I got to spend some time with another employee who also helped with my rather extensive shirt fitting and helped with their gel selection and gave me recommendations on where to get some long runs in locally. I wish I could recall his name but I didnt catch it; super helpful, though! Anyway, after having tried out the other places here in Orlando, Ill be giving my business to Fleet Feet! No questions!

I just visited their store on July 24th. I have never seen such a level of service before in any shopping experience for shoes or anything else. Brenden was very knowledgeable and personable. He first asks you a few questions to find out what type of runner you are and then examines your running style on a treadmill with a video camera to find the right kind of shoe for your needs and physiology. We tried on about 5 different pairs of shoes to narrow down the right fit. I suffer from shin splints because over pronation. This was diagnosed in the video and they recommended a stability shoe and special insert. I must admit the shoes felt great but I was skeptical because I have spent big money on running shoes before only to be disappointed with my continued shin pain. I took the shoes home and hurried to put them on for a 3 mile run. I decided to leave my shin splint wraps(used to keep the shin pain down) off to really see if these stability shoes would do the job. To say I am absolutely over impressed wouldnt do this experience justice. Not only do my shins feel no worse after the 3 mile run, but they seem to feel a bit better. To anybody who thinks the shoes dont matter I say if you run with any regularity it will only be matter of time before you will have to visit a place like Fleet Feet for the correct shoes. I have to say again, for them to take about an hour just fitting me before I even put any money up for a purchase is very impressive. Its this type of service and expertise that has earned my loyalty after only 1 visit to this great store. Thanks again Fleet Feet! I can now again run without pain!

Ill give you the main reason I gave this place five stars. You know how sometimes you walk into a busy place and you feel like no one is paying attention to you or greeting you? This never occurred here. The instant I walked in I was greeted with a friendly smile and hello, and they told me they would be with me in a short while. I am absolutely 100% OK with that. I love seeing businesses thrive and stay busy and even though it took about 15-20 minutes for them to help me, they at least touched base with me a few times just to let me know they would be right with me. That left such a good impression with me. I honestly would have waited even longer if I had to because of this. If anything, this shows how successful of a business they are, and it showed how professional they are. Anyways, I ended up ordering a pair of the Beasts (by Brooks I think? ) and I love them! I will definitely be back next time I need another new pair!

I recently went into Fleet Feet - Orlando to see how they fit their customers in the proper running shoe and in hopes of finding a location where I could send my patients for running shoes. I worked with Jane Ducey and she was great and very personable. She spent roughly 45 minutes (I think it was even during her lunch) walking me through each step of how they find the perfect shoe for each customer. It was very thorough and exactly what I was looking for! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Fleet Feet and their staff! I love how they are also active in the community with races and fundraising. I look forward to working with Jane and the staff for years to come. Regards, Ron Miller Pursuit Physical Therapy

I agree with the other reviewers. This is a fabulous shopping experience. I am new to running and needed my first pair of shoes. The salesman was knowledge and helpful, never pushy. Measured my feet, analyzed my running with an iPad, tried different shoes and inserts, discussed socks and more. The was no pressure to buy more than I wanted. I left with just the shoes I wanted, but knowing what to look for if I do need other products. I would definitely go back. Im so glad I didnt just buy a well reviewed pair on Amazon. They had the same shoe in store and turned out they were nice but were not the most comfortable for my feet.

Great staff. If you are going to drop north of $100.00 on a pair of running shoes, you may as well take an hour (or two) in order to get the right shoe for your foot. I like these guys every bit as much as I like Track Shack, maybe a little more if only for the fact that Fleet Feet actually puts you on a treadmill and takes video of your walk/run in order to better determine the proper shoe structure that is needed for your situation, ~ AND ~ they keep a purchase history in the computer so that when I need to replace what I like, they can hook me up without a bunch of guessing.

I have flat feet, tibial torsion, and a long metatarsal that is prone to inflammation. They understood my needs completely and worked with me to find the shoe that was right for me. What a difference it has made! I was there on two other occasions with a friend buying shoes, and also buying shoes for my son. On all three occasions the level of service was exemplary. It is such a relief to find someone who knows their stuff. I would not go anywhere else for my next shoes.
