I do not recall a single pleasant visit to Hertrich Nissan. Here are the problems that Ive had with them so far. 1. When I bought my car, the salesman told me that it had features that it actually did not have. The car had a bluetooth button on the steering wheel, and the salesman insisted that it does have functioning bluetooth. I found out that no bluetooth module was installed, and sure enough, my car doesnt have bluetooth capability. 2. Every time I pick up my car from repair/service, I find a previously nonexistent problem. Here are some of my experiences: a) When I first bought by car, they offered a maintenance checkup. When I picked up my car, there was a small, but deep crack on the windshield that wasnt there when I dropped off my car. The dealership insisted that the crack was there when the car was sold, and the car was sold "as is." Knowing that my family intended to purchase another car, the salesman tried to use the windshield replacement as a leverage to sell us another car. b) I brought my car in for an electronics problem. When I picked up my car, the original problem was fixed, but they left the headlights on overnight for an unknown reason and drained my batteries. They originally charged me full price for the batteries, and I had to waste an hour arguing with them. Eventually, they agreed to replace my batteries for free, but not without a joke in bad taste. c) Later, I brought in my car for driving noise. After they ran the diagnostics, I found that my passengers side visor hook was broken. I had to pay out of my own pocket for fixing that. d) I brought my car in for a car wash at the service department. Apparently there was a bit of queue and the salesman(?) offered to drive my car through the wash while I wait in the lounge. I had waited for quite a while without hearing back from the salesman, so I went outside to check up on him. I found him on his phone, sitting in my car in the parking lot, blasting AC. Oh, and 2 days after the wash, I had another electronics problem. e) To fix the problem in d), I brought my car in, yet again. It took almost 5 full days for them to do the exact same procedure that they had done before in a day. I was forced to cancel a few appointments, and waste time and money. Granted, the parts company sent out the wrong part. However, they took over twice the time they promised me even after the correct part arrived (actually, the problem hasnt been solved yet as I write this review). They also made no attempts to make up for the inconveniences; all I got were nominal apologies and excuses. UPDATE: I got problem e) fixed, but sure enough, I have another problem. The moment I started my car at the service center, "Airbag Fault" message popped up, and I had to leave my car there for another day. My entire weeks plans was ruined single-handedly by these guys. UPDATE 2: My warranty policy doesnt cover services offered at other service centers within 40 mi radius from the store of purchase. However, because I am genuinely concerned about my safety after this series of poor service, I asked to speak to the manager. He wasnt there, so I asked to have him call me next morning. It is not afternoon, and I still havent heard from them. I have a long drive planned this week, and am genuinely concerned about whether my car is going to be in suitable shape. All in all, Ive given up hopes of having a pleasant encounter with Dover Hertrich Nissan. I just hope to have a non-unpleasant visit someday, but that hasnt happened yet.

Spoke with a salesman and told him my situation and budget. Instead the salesman and manager (Marcus) kept forcing another vehicle, even as to ask me to take it home overnight. I replied with a no thank you, this vehicle is out of my budget. They instead ran my credit for that vehicle after I said over and over that it was out of my bugdet and that I wanted to look at other vehicles. So I left and came back a couple days later with 3 used vehicles that I had narrowed down. The manager comes over to see me in regards the vehicle I was forced to test drive the other day. I told the manager of that and showed him my selections. He instead shot all of my ideas down and questioned me aggressively. His name was Randy. Then, the salesman-who I tried to give a shot because he is new and everyone needs to start somewhere- a chance, but he was more worried about making his 2 sales for the week, than actually helping his customer. After I left, I was then texted saying that the manager there Randy would try to check out my first option ( the reason why I went there in the first place). So now I had an unnecessary inquiry on my credit report and didnt even get to look at the vehicle I was inquiring about. The salesman kept leaving us for long amounts of time only to come back with smart remarks and a clueless look every time. How is it they can claim to get me in a brand new vehicle but they could get me in a cheaper more affordable vehicle? And running my credit without my permission was a huge no. He told me they would not run it but did instead and denied it afterwards. A co worker recommended me there and I was sure I would purchase my vehicle there TODAY, but they sure do know how to lose business.Customer service there is horrible and Their management is even worse and I will make sure everyone I know, knows about this. So unprofessional.

Issue 1: I dropped my car off to have the Guardian applied (Bought my vehicle from this dealership and it can only be done here). When came to pick up my vehicle the following day, I noticed my custom lights were on. You can only turn these by a small remote thats inside my middle console area. Went inside to pick up my keys, I advised the lady helping me that my lights are on and my battery will will probably be dead. Attempted to start the car and nope... They had to jump my battery.. I informed them that someone had to mess with my remote to turn these lights on and I didnt appreciate that. While I had them apply the Guardian to my vehicle, I requested them to look at my driver side seat. Felt like the foam is breaking up (Still under warranty). They informed me that the foam was going bad and they ordered the part, would take about a week to get part in. Issue 2: I set up appointment and came in to have my seat fixed while I waited inside. About 3 hours later they told me my car was done. Great news! Went outside to look at the new seat, it looked great and felt great too! Except for one thing... The lady told me that while the tech was removing the seat he dropped it and scratched up my door frame!!! Seriously?! Im one of those guys who takes very good care of his vehicle, notice every detail, scratch and keeps it in very good condition. After speaking with multiple people, I have someone coming to my house to pick up my vehicle to get it fixed (Im 45 mins - 1 hour away) Hopefully they fix these scratches back to the factory look. My car is pearl white, it wont be easy and Im very picky. I wouldnt recommend taking your vehicle here for service. Past two times have been terrible for me.
