Back in February, my 02 Impreza started up and as I began to back down my driveway the car started sputtering and the check engine light began flashing. Great. I had it towed to Ciocca where they looked it over and told me I needed a new ignition coil and spark plugs. The car had 100k+ miles on it, it could probably use a new coil. What the hell do I know? Google can only tell me so much. I had everything replaced, picked my car up, and everything was fine. Should note when glancing at the receipt I noticed that the coil was quite expensive and also listed on their own website for roughly $130 cheaper. They were kind enough to refund the difference, but perhaps next time I will just order the part from their website and have it shipped from the back of their warehouse to my car in their garage. Almost exactly 1 week later the same thing happens as Im trying to leave work. Check engine light flashing, car sputtering. My worst nightmare is being stuck at work. Or I thought that was my worst nightmare until I was stuck in yet another tow truck with one of the worst human beings Ive ever had the displeasure of meeting (thanks AAA). Twenty minutes later my nightmare ride is over and Im leaving Ciocca in a fancy loaner car (love that they do this) while crossing my fingers I wont have to sell my only remaining arm to fix my car. I get a call the next day and Im told my car engine needs a total rebuild. OMG. Most of my valve guides had failed, one with 80% leakage. HOW?! There were other things, but I honestly blacked out from rage. I came to just in time to hear the person on the phone quoting me a price of $2500+, BUT they had spoken to the GM who graciously offered to do the work for only $200. I was pretty skeptical, but I also love a good deal. Awesome. Got the the work done. I went to pick up my car and as we were going over what was done the service tech I was speaking with mentioned a new head gasket. I gasped. I told the person I had just gotten a new head gasket and timing belt not even a year ago to which he replied "Im not going to throw anyone under the bus, but someone really messed up". I just paid for the repair and went home without saying anything. It was upsetting to learn that I had previously paid $2500.00 of potential student loan payments to have a new timing belt and head gasket installed incorrectly and another $800 for a similar repair not even a year later (actually a good deal). I should say I had been in with for regular oil changes between the time of the first head gasket replacement and the total rebuild with no major problems being pointed out. Meanwhile a month later Im being cold-called to trade in my car...I almost threw my phone into the wall, but stopped myself after realizing I couldnt afford a new one. After asking to not be called again, theyve been true to their word. I havent even gotten a flyer recently telling me how in demand my car is. Other than this one glaring incident, Ive had almost no issue with the service center at ciocca. Everyone that works there is super nice. As said before, I love their loaner cars. I would have been home bound without one. Oil changes are as amazing as an oil change can be. The condition of my tires seem to rely on who measures them. One month I need new tires or Im going to hydroplane straight into the 7th circle of hell and three months later theyre "like new". Am I going to continue bringing my car here? Yes. Im certain if I hadnt religiously been getting work done at Ciocca I would have had to pay the full price for the engine ...or gotten a new car.

I contacted Ciocca Subaru through their website and spoke with Jeff. He answered all my questions directly - never any of the usual sales-sy answers you get at most car dealerships. He confirmed the availability of the exact vehicle I wanted and we essentially negotiated a price over the phone that they honored when I arrived at the dealership. I was traveling from NYC and wanted to make sure it was worth the 2+ hour drive. Jeff put me in contact with Frank Renna. Frank was honest and straightforward. No gimmicks and no attempts to increase price or sell me anything that I did not want. He was proactive in starting my paperwork and contacted my insurance company ahead of time to prepare as much as possible so that I would be able to walk out of the dealership as efficiently as possible (which is what I wanted). I appreciate that he was helping me do that (instead of what other car dealerships typically do - waste a lot of my time trying to sell me things I did not want). It was a cold day and Frank even heated up the car for us so it was warm for us once we got in! I needed financing for my vehicle - the only thing about my experience that couldve have been better was the wait time to see the finance person, Chris. The dealership was extremely busy - a lot of people there on the coldest day of the winter - so it was understandable. I got there an hour before close around 5pm on a Saturday and we were the last customers leaving there around 8pm. Chris, however was great just like everyone we worked with at Ciocca. He is honest and friendly. My wife and I brought our 3-yr old son along because we didnt have a babysitter to watch him. He was getting impatient after a few hours of waiting. Chris was friendly with my son and help us keep him engaged so he was happy. When 3-yr old is happy, mommy and daddy are happy too. I NEVER buy extended warranty or maintenance packages but Chris was so honest and was very capable of articulating value of those packages. He NEVER pressured me with any of the words that typical salesmen used and that ultimately convinced me to buy the packages. Overall, I love my new Subaru and think they offer the best vehicle for the price. I will look at this brand in the future, but most importantly, I will go to Ciocca Subaru first (even if I have to drive over 2 hours to get there) because of the great service, the honesty of the people working there. I highly recommend to my friends and everyone buying a car to consider Ciocca first. I did not get compensated in any way to write this review.

I had gone on line and received a Kelly Blue Book value for the car I wished to trade in, The quote clearly states that the amount could be used toward the purchase of a car from Ciacco, The managers name Kyle Legge was include with the quote. I was informed that I had two days to use the quote, After making an appointment with a salesman, and driving to the agency, I was ready to buy not just one car, but I decide to purchase a second one. After going through all the paper work, having the car inspected that I was turning in and being told that it was in excellent condition, I was suddenly approached by the Manager, Kyle Legge, That the price quoted for my car only was good if a Kelly Rep, happened to be there, I was then informed that Legge would give me $4,000 less because he would have to make another deal with Kelly. His attitude was negative to say the least. He informed me that I really didnt understand what was said in the emails sent to me really meant. Since I had taught Communications as a full professor at the university.level, I was somewhat taken back; however, his attitude clearly conveyed that he felt only he knew what words meant. I had purchased cars from this agency when it was Becker, but the new owners clearly dont have the public interest at heart, only a quick profit. I have also sent other buyers to this agency, but my future plans are to inform all I talk to of the negative approach of Ciocca management. I must add that the salesman I worked with, Mr Bob Pavone was a gentleman who saw the e-mails (texts) I received and told me that the original offers in the text were fair, but that there was nothing he could do when the new management did not honor the spirit /intent of their statements. In over fifty years of car buying, this was the absolute worse experience I ever had Edward F. Warner
