First time at the Optical Shop of Westport...first impression? Really beautiful, tasteful, relaxed and welcoming décor and atmosphere. I notice they have a lot of glasses for kids, in a very fun display. Also see displays for sunglasses and various goggles. Then a very nice woman came up to me to help me (never did get her name!). I needed to get my sunglasses repaired, it required just a small piece/nut to fix the hinge that broke. They were a very good, but very old pair. She was very sweet and helpful, told me to wait a bit while she looked to see if she had the necessary piece otherwise she could order it...good and positive feeling, that they were going to get fixed! Waited a short while, she brings them out and tells me she had the part and they were all fixed and tightened. "Thank you! How much do I owe you?" "Oh, no charge", she said! I will definitely come back here for all of my glasses, etc needs. So refreshing to find a place that still knows the meaning of customer service! Thank you, whoever you were!

GREAT SERVICE!! I feel bad it has taken me a month to say thank you to my new go to place for glasses. I stopped in early in the morning after the lens fell out of my prescription sunglasses. I couldnt see without them. I was greeted with a smile and helped quickly. I love this place and cannot wait to get another set of glasses so I can go back.

I recently dropped in at the Optical Shop of Westport because one of my lenses popped out of my glasses (that I bought elsewhere). They were extremely polite, fixed my glasses quickly and actually did more than I asked. In addition, they straightened out the frame and cleaned the lenses. Excellent service!

just bought a great pair of shooting glasses here. have been looking for a nice pair for forever; it is difficult to find a place with eyewear specific to the sport. this place has a frame for any sport as well as cute everyday ones too. will return if I need a pair of regular glasses or sunglasses.

Great inventory, esp on the sports side of the shop. Stuff I havent seen elsewhere. Good service--the owner will even come to your home to fit/deliver glasses. If you are a dog person they have a nice dog who mingles with customers.
