The people that own this place have serious issues. The store being old and dirty with expired overpriced food is just the beginning (I once bought a candy bar from them that had fossilized inside the wrapper....the date on it was from 4 years ago). I went in one day to buy cookies for my 2-year-old, and their employee (who for some reason thought she knew me) was clearly drunk. She starting swearing at me, ran over to me with my toddler in my arms, and rammed a vaccuum cleaner into my legs purposely. Another customer called the police, and long story short, the employee was not arrested because she denied the incident. The officer advised me to notify the store owner and let him handle the employee. So I wrote them a very polite letter explaining what happened, which they never answered or acknowledged. So I filed a complaint with the BBB, which got their attention: the owner and his wife called me, swearing at me and telling me not to screw with their business or i would "suffer for it". After i hung up, they called back repeatedly. I admittedly had some not-so-nice things to say to them. Furthermore, they did not fire or discipline the employee, and instead hung a PHOTO OF ME in their store with a caption that said to "call police if i stepped foot in their store"!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I did absolutely nothing to provoke any of this...i was literally attacked in their store, and somehow they turned me into the bad guy. I was just an innocent customer, and i shouldve gotten an apology at the very least - certainly not this!! Dont do business with these people.

Frequently visit the store, its convenient location and has a good variety of items, love the coffee selection. The deli prices are great and a large selection. For the most the employees are good, except for one of the deli woman, she looks like she fell head first into one of the salads, clothes always dirty and stained , a real turn off. I like the store and its convenience living right on Berlin Ave but, the deli girl really needs to clean up, its very unappealing
