STOP N SHOP Corbin Ave, New Britain, CT Created a hassle for the receiver. Proper Identification and MTCN number provided for a $300.00 transfer I will not use this service anymore. The stores controlling the action are incompetent low wage workers with no sense of professionalism for such a mundane task as receiving and distributing funds. They lacked the ability to provide the service for a WesternUnion customer. Why create an online WU version if the customers are going to awaken by the receiver, because the store employees are not even qualified for such a position. This review was initially geared toward the Stop N Shop Corbin Ave, CT only. I now have made a connection of WesternUnion being some what reliable, giving the fact WU allows said store to operate on their behalf. I used this service to be free of the hassle, not to spend my afternoon speaking to disappointing employees and bounced around on the phone with managers, district managers etc. I have no confidence the issue will be addressed, which seems to be the norm with large corporations. At the very least I can still choose to withhold my money given to WU whether or not how small the fee is per transaction, it still is a fee atleast WU investors should want, especially with $20.49 buy rate today. The Stop N Shop employees are apparently complacent, yet probably complain amongst each other about wanting higher wages they do not deserve, seeing as they cannot conduct the monotonous though minuscule task of providing proper service on WU/StopNShops behalf or even their own personal character. 2:42pm CST 9-29-16 THE MANAGER JOHN GAVE ME A CALL BACK AND FIXED THE SITUATION, WHICH IM THANKFUL FOR. The employees made a hassle for me and him, but at the end it was corrected. Now that the situation is satisfied i will change my review from 1 star to 4 stars.

5 stars for the donuts, i didnt know, i never look at the bakery, and theyre good, the selection is uninspiring, but they have just what i like, the simple glazed or chocolate and watever else you call those other ones with the gooey stuff. 3 for $2 and after 6pm theyre half price. Kick me upside, who knew.

Didnt like that i was not able to get my digital coupon on an item i wanted tob get and i couldnt get it because i was told i needed to wait 24 hrs for thr digital coupon to work on what i wanted to get waste of my time.

13 aisles and only two cashiers during rush hour, are you effin kidding me!!!! 5 self check lanes and no one to man them, this store is a joke.
