Tidy and busy but this is a small location so be prepared for a limited selection of everything. Good for picking up a gift but for more leisurely shopping or more options, drive up the highway to the Newtown store which is messier with always rude floor staff, but a better selection. Cashiers are great in this location as well as in Newtowns.

Housed in the former Borders Book location, this store has operated in Southbury for a year. This new TJ Maxx is filled with hard to find bargains not seen in neighboring locations. The core interior design is fresh and vibrant. Selection is quite varied as Southbury has a large, diverse population with a mix of young and senior residents.

Clean and well maintained modern store. They did not have any actual dress clothing for men, casual dress only.
